Toys & Candy On the Park

My 5 yr old daughter loved this toy shop. Awesome toys, gadgets, board games, and Kool book/library selection. Nothing so much for teenagers in my opinion, but 12 and under would absolutely love it. Go check it out yah!!

Yesterday, as I walked through the doors, it was like walking into a magical place. It is not unlike the quaint specialty stores we only see on Hallmark movies, and honestly took a few minutes to focus because the well-organized merchandise is neatly arranged from floor to almost ceiling. @ ToysandCandyonthePark is a delight to this grandmother’s senses! It is filled with books, educational toys, arts and crafts, STEM, Magna-Tiles, games, unique puzzles for children and adults, a small collection of curated stuff animals, candy to eat, candy to gift, dolls, kites, and so much more! If there are children in your life, this place will be the perfect solution for finding wonderful gifts. It was well worth the trip from The Woodlands to shop here!!! [Side note: The lower ratings seem to dwell on "nobody spoke to me because.......". I go into plenty of stores that do not have "greeters" at the door. (ie: Hallmark, Kirklands, etc) Don't let those reviews influence you because they are not worthy of the space they are written on.]

We live Tiys & Candy On the Park! Such great gifts and so many fun toys to find. The book section is a perfect addition too. And the candy/chocolate area is delicious! I love that they have alot of sugar free options as well.

My kids went wild in this place! Diverse variety of toys, games, an candy that you don't see elsewhere.

It's nice to have a place like this in the area. I came here for the first time looking for some unique candy for Christmas stockings but now bring my kids here as a reward. They have lots of cool toys and loads of candy with some housemade sweets. They are a bit more expensive than the big chain grocers, but the experience is worth it. As the saying goes "like a kid in a candy store."

We absolutely love this toy store! It is everything you’d expect from a traditional toy store, and as a bonus it’s locally owned. They have a ton of unique, quality, and hard to find toys, along with a great selection of candy and chocolates. It’s my go-to spot to buy wooden toys and dinosaurs for my little guy. They also have a great selection of educational toys and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) toys. Not only is the store great, the people are wonderful too!

They also have a great Santa at Christmas time. Come early though because Santa is popular, and the line gets long toward the end of the day.

Wide selection of unique gifts for children of all ages. Prices are reasonable. Excellent variety of chocolate and candy - hard candies, gummy candies, and retro candies available. Make sure to check out their gourmet chocolate truffle selection - rich and delicious...you will not be disappointed! Plus, they offer specialty items during holidays, such as Valentine's Day, Easter, and Christmas. Friendly staff! A Kingwood staple!

Nice to have a local toy and candy shop. We had fun picking out stocking stuffers for our older kids. Lots of selection, and all the staff were happy and friendly.

Took our daughter there for her first ever pictures with santa. We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super friendly, the store was very clean and in order. We didnt get a chance to shop , but we saw quite a few things our children would love. Santa was very friendly and great with the children. Wish we could rate 10 stars. Defintely a nice place to go if you've never been.

Amazing store full of high quality, very often American-made, toys that are miles beyond the ToysRUs land of Chinese plastic. Friendly employees and an awesome candy section make this the traditional toy store experience you want to share with your kids. I'm really glad Kingwood has this place!

Great place. Can always find toys you did not know your children needed! Sometimes we just go touch stuff and look around but we always leave with something good to snack on

Magical....thats what goes through my mind when I walk into this place. I watch my 2 yr. old twins reactions as they walk through the door and its....magic! It's a true gem that is a rariety now. It has all the Melissa & Doug toys, dress up clothes for the kids, and even things for older elementary kids. Talk about sinfully good candy & chocolate. Drooling just thinking about the chocolate covered marshmallows. It's like eating the softest fluffiest marshmallow with a thick layer of chocolate surrounding the entire thing. Go there! It will be amazing for you & your kids. The staff are so extremely friendly and you can tell they actually like their job...they actually like being around kids. Great store!

My kids absolutely love this place and myself included. While taking the kids there, it takes me back to my younger years eating the wax candy with the Dr. Pepper juice, the pop rocks and the Sugar Daddy's. From chocolate crickets to Harry Potter Bertie Botts; They have it all.

Was a nice nostalgic trip to shops of old.

On the Park in Kingwood is loaded with great toys, books and trinkets for kids of all ages. I always find the perfect gifts for grandchildren there!

We have lived in Kingwood over 35 years and always enjoy our visits to the store. The Santa was very nice to our family even when the granddaughter was crying ! Please help keep this local small business going.

Love that our favorite local stores are able to still remain open this holiday season. We come here all the time and it is such a great place for our kiddo.great books and toys for all ages!
