First time customer and new to the area. The service was friendly and professional. The package went on sale after we ordered and he honored sale price. We were very happy with the quality of the meat. Would definitely recommend and will be on our monthly shopping stops.

Impressive little meat shop 🥩 Always excellent service and are happy to serve you or answer any questions you may have. Owner helps me out and sells me beef fat to make tallow, since I don't use seed or vegetable oil. Nice selection of breads, sourdough and other delicious sweet loaves. They also carry local raw honey 🍯 Sausages are delicious, breakfast and onion sausage are our current favorites. 10/10

Stopped by Carl Wayne Nursery today and had a hot dog from THE MEAT SHOP and grilled by the owner, Chris..

What a great shop! We were in town to visit family and ended up stopping in twice. Great recommendations, nice people, great meat and delish chorizo! Local honey too. Highly recommend!

Meat shop is awesome! I love that they have delivery now, they just delivered to my work. Made it so much easier so I could go right home after work.

A wonderful local gem.

My husband and I recently moved into the area but are still about 45 minutes from this little gem of a butcher shop. The meat is amazing and rivals the best we have had anywhere. We gladly make our 45 minute trek to this shop. Highly recommend.

My family was vacationing in the area and my wife found this place online somewhere. Very friendly and helpful. They were out of ribeyes, but picked out some good chuck eyes (which we've never had) for us. We also got some ground chuck for burgers and some cheddar brats. It was all amazing on the grill. Now that we're back home in Texas their brats have ruined us and now we have to try to find something comparable here! Totally recommend this place, well worth going out of your way for.

I have bought 3 of their packages & have not had a bad piece of meat. We have served steaks, roasts & burgers. We've had nothing but compliments. We might have to wait a few minutes but they always carry it out for us. We won't but meat anywhere else. Chris & his staff are always helpful. They answer any questions we might have & get our orders filled in a day or two.

The only place for meat around here for me!!! Always fresh, never find bone chips and filler like the grocery stores have started doing. Their filets are melt in your mouth tender and chicken is always great. Love that you can find different breads there, too. Friendly service and they support the community. Keep up the great work!!

Big memorial day get together. Order chops,dogs and brats. 35 plus guest loved the meat. These guy's are the best. Highly recommend!!

I ordered a beef tenderloin, twice baked potatoes, shrimp and jalapeño poppers. Super tender flavorful steaks and potatoes were the bomb. Highly recommend their merchandise.

We had bone-in ribeye's from The Meat Store in Mountain Home and they were so tender and delish, we will definitely shop there for our steaks, the staff was helpful and friendly and it was very clean. Very impressed!!!

Best meat in town by a long shot, great service and friendly staff overall great experience. They have all different types of wood for smoking and the best selection of sauces and runs in town.

Great shrimp and cheese very friendly. They have seasonings, local breads, sauces, bacon...much more than just meat.

Had what I needed and the staff is always super friendly! Superb quality products! Money well spent.
