About the closest thing to Radio Shack I've found her in Corpus. Had what I was looking for when others didn't during holiday shopping and helpful. I'll repeatusing them for personal in the future..very well pleased!!

This is the absolute best place to going to get for us TECHY individuals, prices are fair, the staff and service are out of this world they far exceed bestbuy and I know that because bestbuy is a retailer aimed at generalizations of the simple consumers and not toward the actually technical support and server, or network industrial options that many may seek, also check into Darkwarriors as they are a great source to building one's business reputation and promoting small businesses. Altex is and will be a great contender when they grow further, as I hope to see more businesses like them come to play in the next few years, offering wires, relays, encloderurs, cases, bit mining rigs, graphics cards, audio, speakers, wifi solutions, gaming, desktops, custom builds, water cooling system, and so do so much more give them a visit you'll have a blast and who know maybe you'll learn a thing or two about what real customer service feels like when ran properly and honestly, they are not shy and not hard to deal with they are simply put a model business that wal Mart being the disgrace that it is to any business, outta learn a thing or too about from company's such as altex

These guys know what they are doing and their customer service skills are on point. I was desperate and walked out safe with what I so needed to continue my at home business. They are life savers.

Don't even bother calling Best Buy. The 1990's called, and they want their computer chagers back. I went to Altex, not only got what I needed, but they helped me test the laptop charger before I bought it. First class operation here!

Was scheduled for fingerprints and the address was the same as, due to being in the same plaza. Wondered in here n they automatically knew i needed help n was in the wrong place. They were so helpful n kind. N still giving their best customer service skill despite the circumstances. They informed me of all their products and services n like Bob Ross says. There are no mistakes only happy accidents. I was happy to have wonder in by accident. N now am informed of where i can get my computer needs n repair at. N they gave me 2 buisness cards of recommendations to 2 buisnesses for home visits.
I didnt buy n e thing n i wasnt a customer., but i didnt need to be to leave a review to say their attitudes were awesome n i think they would be extremely helpful if u have computer needs

My number 1 store for 95% of my business related purchases. Best prices in town for quality TV mounts. Staff is very knowledgeable. If they don’t have it, they will do their best to get it for you quickly. I shop here several times a week. Same goes for San Antonio locations when I’m up there working.

This place is like a tricked out radio shack plus a lot more that is over my head. Thank goodness the staff is very friendly and help me and points me in the right direction. All the small stuff you are thinking about on eBay and Amazon but need to have it just go here and get it. By that I mean electronics and stuff related to computers and things like that.

As a followup on previous post- after picking up my computer I discovered that the software issue that necessitated me bringing it in to begin with, was not resolved. After speaking with the tech, we agreed that I would return it and he would diagnose it and try to fix it. Turned out to be an issue with incomplete or incorrect update of the operating system. The tech fixed and tested the computer to my satisfaction and although my previous review and dissatisfaction was not discussed, he volunteered to offer me a partial refund of the original charge for my inconvenience. For that I'm upgrading their original review from 3 stars to 4 though I encourage anyone shopping with them to take note of their operating hours.

Trying to resolve a computer issue.

Staff was very helpful, went above and beyond in trying to help getting it repaired.

After purchasing an item I apparently didn't need and letting the return period pass, I still asked for a refund, and it was cheerfully given. That alone is terrific and is a fantastic first impression.

I expect to return whenever I have need for their goods.

The initial people I spoke with need to work on their customer service, but asking for the manager on duty made all the difference in the world.

Great selection at reasonable prices. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to find the odd cable or adapter you need, or a missing component. They also have alot of A/V cabling and connectors, stuff for home theater, and gaming.

I Came in a few days ago. Their technician "Silby" was the absolute best. Looked at my computer and was not only spot on with his diagnostics and was very friendly. He helped me pick out my new parts and even showed me why it went bad..This is one of the best places i have been to for not only service for my computer but parts as well. I will be back for sure.
