Ace Hardware & Equipment

Despite being a National chain this store feels like a local hardware store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Theyy had what I needed and helped me find it quickly. I don't leave a lot of reviews but felt compelled to write something about this experience.

The store manager was very good about helping his team and making sure checkout lines were little to no wait. The staff were quite knowledgeable as well! Got my lawn care supplies much cheaper than Lowes/Home Depot.

Staff offered assistance, had answers to my questions, this is a very nice Ace Hardware.

I went here for some gardening supplies and left with so much more! The workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I needed! These days if I am going to a store rather than shopping online I am looking for great customer service and this place provides that and more! I will be back for sure!

Recently visited here for the first time. Nice hardware store. I was greeted by a store employee as soon as I walked in the door. I told him what I was looking for and he led me to the location and showed me the selection of product. They had what I needed. Couldn’t help but notice the room with the lawnmower equipment in it. Stihl and Cub Cadet mowing equipment. Two more employees greeted me when I peaked into that room. I didn’t have a lot of time to browse or shop but definitely recommend this store due to friendly and helpful staff.

Skip those chain home improvement stores and shop local. Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Plus, their expanded grilling section has every sought after seasoning, rub, brine, and sauce you could think of. By far my go to for keeping my next grilling session on point!

Great help when just browsing for various things, thank you to Shane and Troy. They were both very helpful when I had many questions.

I went there to pick up an online order. I was warmly greeted at the door and asked if I needed help. As I walked through the store I was offered assistance by two other employees. When leaving with my order an employee held open the door for me and offered assistance to get my large package into my car. Very friendly and helpful employees all around, I will go back there again.

This place is my new go to! The staff went above and beyond to help me facilitate a birthday gift for my brother. I ordered online while out of town and 1 call to the store resulted in them facilitating delivery of the grill (which I didn’t know was possible) and a refund to my bill for an error I didn’t even realize I had made. This kind of customer service and just plain old kindness is harder and harder to find. Thank you Dwayne and all those who work in this Ace Hardware store. You’re the best!

Must visit, they have just about everything you will need for your home. Electrical, plumbing, household products, summer fun including cookout products, lighting products, gotta go see for yourself! A whole lot more. Let's not forget, the staff is helpful & very pleasant!

The staff has consistently been friendly and helpful every time I've stepped through the door. The store itself is easy to navigate and not as hectic as Lowe's or Home Depot tend to be. It's well on it's way to becoming my one-stop shop.

The Ace Hardware in Mechanicsville is so welcoming!! The store management was very friendly and helpful. The store is very well stocked and laid out nicely. I was even able to buy garden flags for my wife which helped me get some brownie points👍.
