The guy behind the counter is an awesome guy. While out riding bikes, my son got a flat tire. The irony is it was the one time I didn’t have my phone on me. He let me use his phone, let my son use his restroom and was genuinely thoughtful in regard to our situation.

The BEST sandwiches around. Perfect one stop shop for a drink and lunch. Tables provided outside so you can enjoy the sun on your lunch break! Customer service is always excellent. Thanks Stars and Stripes mart! Will be back.

Best sandwiches I’ve everrr had! Super fresh and delicious! I’m very picky when it comes to deli meats and you can tell the quality is amazing. The Point Loma is my favorite. :-) Staff is always so kind and quick to making my sandwiches. Love this place and I would highly recommend it. It’s definitely a must try!

I love coming to this one stop shop that has everything I need. The perfect walk from my house I always greeted with smiles when I enter. I also love their deli. The best sandwiches in Point Loma…couple of years ago this place was a different spot when the new owners took over they really did a great job cleaning up the place and adding so many great options from liquor, beer, snacks and of course the deli. If your here on vacation or live near by you have to stop by!

Stars & Stripes have the MOST delicious sandwiches! They are quick and super nice. My favorite sandwich shop and I don’t really care for many sandwiches.

I think the new ownership has turned this store completely around. Chris has come in and made a new deli section and beer cave. The deli is carrying Boars Head products, which in my opinion are the best you can get for deli sandwiches. The store is much cleaner then it used to be and there is much more room too. Way to go Chris!

Chris and Jesus are my favorite people. Always friendly and great to talk to. I like to go here for pretty much anything, especially if I’m in a hurry. They recently remodeled and it’s great to see they want to make it more efficient and provide more for their customers. The sandwiches are also incredible because they make them FAT. Always a happy customer.

We regularly order sandwiches for our boat crew here, and the deli team is responsive, personable, and always friendly, orders are ready on time, and their sandwiches are simply delicious! The Old Glory is our crew's favorite.

Obviously some of these "reviewers" have a bone to pick with these guys for some reason. The prices are a little bit more on some things ,but not that bad. The guy who says go to Sabatinis is smoking something because they have the highest prices in the neighborhood. The sandwiches are simple but fresh, good price and made in about 5 mins. I don't find them rude at all. Some people seem to want their ass kissed just because their shopping in the store. Just my two cents, but I hate seeing people write a review that is just not true.

Fantastic spot to grab a good sandwich if you work on the base. Recommend the soup combo, half-sandwich and a different daily soup. Decent amount of food for 8$. Good selection of liquor and beer as well.

New owners turned this store around! There’s a new beer cave and they’ve basically remodeled the whole store. The sandwiches are to die for. Get the Point Loma sandwhich! They carry boars head which is the best meat EVER. The staff are super friendly too.

Great stop for snacks, booze, and fresh deli sandwiches

I go here always once or twice a week for a sandwich and I’m always extremely satified with my food. They have great prices and friendly staff. Happy to be local and have a place like this.

i ordered a turkey sandwich last week it was amazing Boars head is the finest and congratulations to the owner for having the highest quality meats Tonight i went back tried a pre package tuna sandwich Big mistake the bread was soaked and i drove back The very nice young man made me a fresh delicious tuna sandwich and i learned its best to always order and wait for a fresh sandwich Thanks

The store is so organized and very clean. They have a great inventory. The deli is also amazing! Definitely worth a stop!
