What can I say? My wife absolutely loved this store. The prices were good and the selection amazing. She has produced several stunning pieces since her initial visit. As a plus they have a parking lot where I took a nap while she shopped.

This lovely little shop is a gem! I was visiting the area and had forgotten to bring a knitting project with me so I stopped in. Chris was so helpful. She helped me find the perfect baby sweater pattern and yarn, printed the pattern for me, and gave me a few tips. As I got started on the pattern I came across a section that I didn’t understand and couldn’t find a YouTube video to explain. I went back to the store the next day and Chris helped me figure it out. Now I’m happily knitting away. If you live in the area or are just passing through be sure to stop in. They are very well stocked with all kinds of fiber crafts and as you can see the staff is wonderful!

What a wonderful place for all your fiber needs! I wanted to learn how to spin with a drop spindle. I was guided to just the right spindle and fibers to start with and patiently and happily answered all my questions. I can't wait to go back! They have an great supply of yarns as well!

Been here a few times over the past few years with my wife. The owner is incredibly helpful.
This location has quite the selection of yarn! They have quite a few Noro yarn options. Their selection of Peruvian yarn was quite nice. I noticed they had a large selection of local yarn (and locally dyed yarn) as well.
The cost is very reasonable as well for yarn/other fiber arts. Be prepared to walk out with a large bag full of items, or your arms filled with your purchases(see picture).
Great location too! Will be visiting again next time we're visiting.

Beautiful selection, great classes!

I took my first wool felting class last night and it was great! Jennifer is so knowledgeable and great at explaining and demonstrating the techniques. I can't wait to try it again.

I've been a customer for years buying knitting and crochet supplies, she has a beautiful selection in a variety of price ranges.

This is a marvelous store with an enormous variety of yarns, felting supplies, spinning supplies, etc. If you need it, it's here. Jennifer and staff are very helpful and friendly. I don't understand the negative reviews at all as I have shopped here for over 10 years. Jennifer especially is wonderful at helping you choose colors and such. Love this store, much better than others in Vermont.

When there was another beautiful yarn store in essex, that was where I always went....I loved their friendliness. But not having that choice anymore, I decided that I had to change my attitude and remember that I was very knowledegable and have more self-confidence when I went to this shop....it worked....I really liked the first person that I met who worked on that particular day and forever after, I have just concentrated on what I was looking for and not wanting a particular personality so much. It is a beautiful yarn shop with wonderful choices and tons of books and patterns. It is all okay! All is well!

So many options for yarn and fibers. They even have pre-made felting kits in case you want to work on a small project without thinking too hard about it. The owner was very sweet and helpful and we got to meet her cute dog.

Always a fun place to look at beautiful yarns in abundant varieties. I know she sells felting and other materials, but even for a one craft gal like me there is plenty to see. Her dog is adorable too!

This shop has beautiful yarn. I have always been treated well in here and they have been very helpful. I am not the best knitter and they have helped me with my mistakes and been extremely patient in teaching me and showing me how to fix problems that arise and read patterns. I am so happy to have this resource so close!

I had an extremely positive experience at this shop just a few weeks ago. I'm a total novice hobbyist with more questions than experience, and I'm trying to figure out a project from scratch. The lady minding the place (I didn't get her name.) walked me around the store describing different materials and how they might effect what I'm trying to do. This, combined with great products steeped in the local economy, gets a solid five stars.

Locally owned yarn and fiber shop for the locals and visitors alike. Great selection and a wide range of yarn and fiber within everyone’s price range. The owner and staff genuinely assist you without being annoying or trying to sell you something. Browsing is allowed and encourage. The Vermont go to place if you are looking for yarns and fibers made of “real” materials, not fake and man made from plastic.

What a wonderful store - friendly service and a spectacular selection of felting materials and yarn. I was there primarily to take a silk painting workshop with Maggie Neale, which was fantastic, but the shopping experience was also superior.

I am very new to the world of knitting. I messed up my first project and Jen was happy to fix my mistakes , explaining what I had done wrong. She then took the time to point out yarns easy to work with, and sent me away with the needles I needed . I'll be back!

I have always been impressed with the depth of the stock in this store, especially for us felters. And I'm inspired by the artistry that pours out of Jennifer and her family. I like going there probably more than anything to get inspired.

Huge selection of yarns and fibers. Kits, books, supplies galore. Very friendly and helpful staff. If they don't have what you want and they have the ability to order it they'll get it for you with a smile.

I loved this shop! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Wide variety of beautiful quality yarns and fiber art supplies. Will be back!
