Ray is awesome, this is my go to computer store. I went in again today 7/27 to buy a laptop SSD. Very fast service. Great selection for a mom and pop computer store. Support this store if you can. They fix computers and sell accessories and parts. I noticed that they have software as well.

This is a small family owned computer store. Whenever I call them for part needs they are always helpful and friendly! If you have any small computer part needs or some odd connectors they will have it! I highly recommend this place for your IT needs!

I've been going to see Ray since somewhere around 2002 or 2003, long before they moved into their current location. He has always been fantastic and the prices are exceptional. I've bought parts from him, had laptops repaired, and never had a bad experience at Austin Tech. If you need something try them first!!!

Excellent customer service & equally great prices! We really appreciated Ray's honesty & sincerity! Ray fixed the fan in my laptop after another computer business in Leesburg was unable to do so. In fact, Ray fixed two other problems that were created by the other computer business! We ended up buying three laptops from Austin Tech for our kids. I highly recommend Austin Tech for your computer needs!!!

Long story short, a secondary computer we use for my daughter had a hard drive failure. 1030 dropped off, about 11 had a diagnosis and promise date of next morning. At 2 pm a different worker called to say it was fixed. I expressed how happy I was with their speed and she said "well we knew it was for your daughter to learn so we wanted to finish it quickly." I can't even begin to express how happy I am with your service/prices and also your professionalism. Thank you!!!

Brought my laptop in as it was slow & I couldn't get my AOL Desktop to work. Ray verified my issues with me & identified that I needed a new hard drive & that he would look at the rest of components. Workmanship and price for this service was outstanding. Highly recommend this shop & service.

I bought about $1000 worth of upgrades for my PC at Best Buy, including motherboard, processor, GPU and RAM. After installing it all myself, it still wasn't working.
I tried calling Geek Squad, but they didn't answer their phone... but I know they charge $100 for diagnostics only (they tell you what is wrong), then they ask you if you want them to fix it for a ridulous amount of money.
So I searched online and found Austin Tech. I called them. They answered their phone right away. They told me that diagnostics are free. I brought my PC in.
Finding the store is difficult, even with GPS (it's in an industrial park with several other unassuming businesses that I would have never known exist, but now I plan on checking out each one).
After checking in my PC, I looked around the store. I was angry with myself after seeing what I saw...
They had the EXACT same motherboard I just bought for about 1/2 of the price I paid, BETTER GPUs for about $50 less than the one I bought, and NEW monitors for about 1/2 of the price of the same models at Best Buy...
The lady who was helping me was VERY helpful with everything. This Mom and Pop shop has it going on.
Once my repair is complete, I will update this review, but for now, 5 stars so far.

UPDATE!
I forgot to update the review. Sorry about that.
I bought a new case and had them install all my old PC parts into it after the diagnostics.
In all, I paid less than I did at geek squad AND they had it ready for me the next morning. I have recommended dozens of my coworkers to this place.

Competent, friendly, thorough, and always a better value than the big box places both in terms of time and money. I've been their customer for many years, and the one and only time they didn't get a repair 100% correct the first time, they made it right with no hassle and no additional cost. A real customer-service gem. Both my tech-savvy and hopelessly-lost friends like their value, selection, and professionalism. I wish I could give them more than five stars.

These are great guys. I was afraid of going to any computer repair company for fear of being ripped off. These guys are amazing.
They charged us a very reasonable amount and they did the work fast.
Any computer work go to them

5 years ago, when my HP Pavilion laptop would not boot, I had it repaired by the Geek Squad. $400 and over 2 weeks later, my laptop died within a few weeks after being "repaired". After a rightly deserved "You should have listened to me in the first place", I purchased a HP G60 laptop for about $600.

Recently, the screen on my HP G60 went blank, leaving me to use an external monitor. The Geek Squad quoted me $200 for a diagnosis and would have to send it away for at least 2 weeks. NOT AGAIN!

This time I had the good fortune of being referred to Austin Tech 2000. Since I could use my G60 with an external monitor, thinking it a very long shot, I asked if they could do anything with my HP Pavilion. What could I lose on a FREE diagnosis?

A week later I received a call that the HP Pavilion I had given up for dead 5 years ago is alive and kicking! Pleased with my resurrected Pavilion, but fretting over whether or not I would have to replace the G60's screen, I dropped my G60 off at Austin Tech. Again, about a week later, I received a call that they were able to repair the G60's screen at approximately a third of the cost to purchase a new screen.

Now, I for a little more than the cost of one useless Geek Squad diagnosis, have 2 working laptops! I am extremely pleased with every aspect of my experiences with Austin Tech 2000 and highly recommend their services.

A++ Company with great prices and even better service!

I took a computer of mine that had seen better days and they were not only able to diagnose the problem by simply looking at the motherboard. I was amazed at their experience level. I was even further amazed when they said that rather than simply repairing it for me, they could replace the part, all coming out to the same, originally quoted price.

Travis is the tech that helped me from day one, he called and gave periodic updates on the status, and helped troubleshoot secondary issues I was having with the computer without batting an eye. I highly recommend the crew at Austin Tech to help you with your computer, or for finding any parts you may need!

I have a computer science degree and have formerly worked as a network engineer for several years. The guy who runs this shop is the real deal. This is a computer geek type of computer store. This is NOT your over priced, no knowledge, sales oriented Best Buy style place... I can't speak for non computer geeks, but as for people who need a REAL computer place to go to in order to buy good hardware and have a good guy to bounce things off of, this is the only place in Loudoun County I have found to do so. Only computer place I ever go to anymore... It has saved me time and LOTS of money..

I have been doing my computer business with Austin Tech for many years. Ray really knows computers and how to repair them very well if needed. He has always been very fair with me in purchasing computers to having one repaired. Ray is a very honest man and I would recomend Ray and his team to anyone of my friends for all type of computer repair or purchases. I will continue doing business with Ray / Austin Tect unless I move to far out of the area. I'm sure anyone will agree with me once you have met Ray. I rate Ray / Austin Tech to be a first class business to deal with for your computer needs.

Austin Tech has been repairing our computers for years. Every time, quickly and for a reasonable price. Most recently a Surface the Microsoft store said was lost, they was able to repair! They are a true find!
