I wonder if things haven't improved since a lot of these reviews have been written. I've had pretty good luck with the pharmacy and the store. Live nearby and it's nice having a solid drug store in such close proximity.

Terrible drive through service. I arrived at 1:10pm to pu rx, 1 car in front of me took 20 mins. When I drove up the young lady told me they were closed from 1:30-2. I honestly thought I was on candid camera. I fought with her for 5 mins until finally her pharmacist came over and rang me up. I took the time to go back in the store and file a complaint but I don't think it mattered. They still suck but this is the only place my insurance covers.

Never had an issue with this Walgreens. Mainly gone in to get pictures printed out or get other things for convenience. But then again, I haven't dealt with the pharmacy department so I can't speak on that. Everything else is fine.

Let me be the outlier here when it comes to all these negative reviews - the pharmacy staff was warm and friendly on the phone and in person, and I had no problems with my prescription being filled in any way. The store was clean and orderly and it was a pleasure to be there. Of course, I went in with absolute dread after seeing all these reviews. Maybe things are getting better?

The pharmacy is a freaking joke. Almost every order we have is either messed up or severely delayed. Literally every person working in the pharmacy, including the pharmacist, Robin, gives the impression that they do not care about anything. I switched to this pharmacy from the price chopper solely because price chopper’s system isn’t digital and that makes things more difficult for my doctor. Walgreens is 3x more expensive and 100x more rude and less competent. Completely worthless, honestly. They can’t do the one main thing that they exist for, which is providing people their prescriptions. This isn’t just my experience, any time I’m in there, many other people are waiting or complaining about mistakes on their orders.

HORRID customer service. Waited hours after the time a photo book was due. Told me they didn’t know how to do it so I wouldn’t be getting it for hours. AFTER I was already late for the birthday party because I was waiting on them to finish. Let the 1 star overall rating tell you everything you need to know.

Absolutely infuriating pharmacy. Never know their hours. Changing all the time. They forget about prescriptions all the time. If you don’t pick it up, the next day they have to “refill it” and you have to come back. The staff is so sweet, but my gosh. Get it together. Changing pharmacies.

9am appointment and this is what is waiting for you at 9am Tuesday morning. Walgreens sent a reminder Friday of the previous week not saying anything about new operating hours with opening hours at 9am. So apparently they open at 9 and spend 30min getting ready before they see anyone. Poor management of this location.

After 45min, being 2nd in line at opening...this poorly managed pharmacy let 2 people get vax'ed before I was finally able to get my work mandated unwanted jab. These 2 were around 50th in line as the customers were wrapping around the store.

They sell Soup Sandwich's at this location, come get one...its as bad as it sounds.

Update...as of 3weeks later...Google sent an email stating over 10000 views on this review. And still no response from Walgreens...oh well

Also...They have two sites to review....one is only for the Walgreens store with a 1star rating and the second is for Walgreens Pharmacy with a 2.8 star rating. Make sure you look in both review locations

I transferred to this pharmacy location when I moved about six months ago. I have had nothing but problems. The staff is always friendly but orders are never filled or ready for pickup despite online or text messaging confirmation.

It seems they are always severely understaffed and there is constantly a line that takes around 20-30 minutes just for them to tell you it hasn’t been filled. I’m considering switching to CVS. It’s not even easy to get someone on the phone when you call. Frustrated and fed up!

Literally the worst customer service I have ever seen. If i could give zero stars, i would. I rushed from work to get a prescription that’s really important and that I really needed TODAY. I got the notification that it was ready literally as i was sitting in the drive through. I waited until about 6:57 when i realized that i probably wouldnt get though in time and ran inside. They already had the screen closed several minutes early, and when i asked if i could still get my prescription, the girl behind the counter was extremely snotty and told me to just come back tomorrow because she already closed her drawer out. First of all, you should never close your drawers before the posted close time. Second, why would you send a notification that a prescription is ready if you’re not even going to let me pick it up? Now, i have missed a day of my meds and will not only suffer the consequences of that, but i’ll also be late for work in the morning because i still have to go get it!! I honestly dont know why i keep going back to this location, they are always extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ll be transferring my scripts immediately

This has been the worst place for the last two months. My wife had surgery and when we went to get her meds… they told us that we needed to contact her doctor to get a prior authorization because they could not fill her medication until we did so. After contacting the Doctor we were informed that it was Already authorized and didn’t know what the problem was. I called Walgreens. Was on hold for 25 minutes waiting to talk to someone and was disconnected automatically. After finally talking to someone they were able to initiate and fill the prescription without any problems. The staff is completely incompetent and will only get things taken care of only after you have to get upset and do the footwork for them. Completely ridiculous.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. Every single time. There is no customer service whatsoever and they seem to lose or forget about prescriptions 24/7. Even if there is no one in line expect to wait at least 5 minutes before someone even speaks to you. Switching to Hyvee pharmacy asap.

This used to be one the best Walgreens in the area. No longer. The wait is ridiculous to pick up prescriptions. I was told that there were over 500 prescriptions that were waiting for the pharmacist to fill!! And so t even think about calling the pharmacy! Was on hold over 30 minutes then phone disconnected.
We are moving all of our prescriptions to another company.
Stay away from this pharmacy unless you like to wait

Walked in to get a vaccine (there are signs all over the store advertising this). There were - this is not an exaggeration - three customers in the whole place (none waiting for a jab). Kid at the pharmacy counter tells me they are too backed up to do a vaccine without appointment and tries to send me down the street to “see if they can fit me in.”

This place is always a train wreck, but today we hit a new all time low.

Made appointment online for a flu vaccine. Arrived early and waited in line for over 20 minutes. Filled out the online paperwork, including consent through the Walgreens online system, then was told by associate they only accept paper copies. Severely understaffed. Staff that are there are not friendly and are dismissive to customers. Watched on pharmacy staff member leave in the middle of helping another customer, walk out to the store and came back about 5 minutes later with a soda and bag of chips she purchased at the front check out. 😡 So glad to see how important you all believe patients/customers are.

So FYI you can refill your prescriptions at any Walgreens in the country just by calling them and saying that you want to refill this time at said location. There is no formal transfer process or hassle involved in doing this either.

So I called the Ward Road location to fill my meds this month and they not only immediately answered the phone but had my meds ready for pickup within 24 hours. I just picked them up around 7 PM on a Wednesday and there was no line and I got my meds within five minutes.

They even set me up for automatic free 2 day home shipping of my meds each month when they start to run out.

So basically the workers at this MO 150 location near Greenwood have effectively gone on strike but the Ward Rd and Langford Rd locations are running normally at least as of this writing.

So call either location to fill your meds there. You can actually even log into a Walgreens.com account and specify a different store of your choice when you place a refill order so that way you don't even have to call them.

Worst case if these other two locations start having issues, call the Walgreens in Warrensburg or even Sedalia and refill there. Dumb to have to drive 30 min to an hour or more for your meds but it would still be quicker than wasting weeks in the city.

As smaller towns are less populated and therefore have less people filling meds, smaller town Walgreens are less affected by the staffing shortages. I have relatives in both towns mentioned above and they are having zero issues getting their meds quickly and easily from their local Walgreens. They were puzzled and surprised when I mentioned having these issues in the city.

Welcome to upside-down world.

5 weeks to get a prescription filled and a total of 4 hours in line on 3 separate occasions to get it figured out. 3 weeks for one medication that was “delayed in shipping” and finally gave up and switched to another medication that would be more readily available. Then 2 weeks of “waiting for insurance approval” when, come to find out, no approval was needed. Was hung up on every time I tried to call to understand the delay. Tried being patient since they are understaffed, but their whole system is broken somewhere. Go somewhere else until they get it figured out.

First off I have never had so many problems with a pharmacist like the one that works here! I'm not going to give HIS name but we had a argument about me getting the phone hung up on me 3 times after waiting over 30 min each time! He tried telling me I don't have a prescription for you. This was on Friday! I called another walgreens and he said they can see the prescription but it's at the location I'm posting about! He then told me he didn't care what the other walgreens said he don't have it... well the next couple days passes so I call up again to talk to someone else and he said it's been here sense Friday. Just because I got into a argument with him he lied to me and said it wasn't there! I'll never go to this location again.

Truly the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to in the United States. Only use it when I absolutely have to. If you’re coming here for prescriptions, go somewhere else. Their hours are all over the place, you never know when they might have closed early until you show up and everyone’s gone for the day. Drive-thru is hardly ever an option so you usually have to go inside and, on average, I’d say the line is about 6 people deep. Never more than one employee working at a time. Never friendly. Unless you’re just coming here to grab a pack of gum by the front register, save yourself a nightmare and go to another store.
