Every visit to this shop has been a pleasure. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. Their in store selection of fly tying materials and fly fishing gear is outstanding.

I had a fantastic experience when I visited the store. They are 40 minutes from where I live and it was worth the drive there. I'm just starting fly tying and Brian helped me find all the materials and supplies I needed, in a very friendly way and he dedicated himself for about an hour to clarify my questions, explain the difference of many materials and gave me directions on fly fishing. They will definitely have me as a customer for all my fly tying and fishing needs. Besides, they have a reward program for in-store purchases.

I am new to not only the area but Florida all together. I stoped by yesterday to share some of the hurdles I’ve been facing getting to know the water and they were very willing to help (before it was obvious I was going to spend money I might add). I have extensive experience working for fishing shops and was a Fishing Manager for a large company in the fly fishing industry for several years and I can say the customer service was excellent. They were willing to share some knowledge and they clearly love what they do and it shows. I will be a regular at this shop as long as I live in Orlando.

Found the store while on a business trip with some time on my hands. The staff was see really great and accommodating. Brian had great suggestions and was helpful to someone getting back into fly fishing after many years. Never oversold anything and I was extremely satisfied with his suggestions and advice. Stores like this are a gem to be treasured. Almost makes me wish I lived in Orlando!

I have been going to Orlando Outfitters for well over 10 years and have had nothing but great experiences with every visit. The owner (TJ) could not be a more genuine and helpful person. From the beginning of my fly fishing addiction he has been invaluable with his guidance and advice, spending hours outside helping me with my casting, even going as far as taking me out on the water to give me some real scenario casting experience. His current staff, Brian and Michael, are equally helpful and knowledgeable. From sharing their personal fly fishing experiences, to taking me outside, letting me try out any fly rod in the shop while giving much appreciated casting tips. (Thanks Brian!)
The shop has an incredible inventory of just about everything you could possibly need, and if they don’t have it in the shop I’m sure they’ll do everything they can to get it.
Can’t say enough about this shop. We are so fortunate to have them here in Orlando. From owner and staff, to their well stocked inventory of quality fly fishing products, this is a first rate outfit!

Came in for the first time on a Thursday to get some beginner's advice and some flies to get me started. Brian was very helpful and set me up with a versatile mix of flies, tips on presentation, and some general fly fishing education. It's now Friday and I've caught 4 fish already and I'm having a great time. Definitely recommend coming in if you're curious about the sport and want an educational and welcoming environment.

Great shop in every way. All the gear and supplies you need for fly fishing/outdoor activities. Rods and reels from quality manufacturers and a huge selection of flies, tying material, and apparel.

Staff have a ton of knowledge and are always friendly and willing to help. If you’re new to fly fishing, they have the patience to explain what you need to know to have a fun day on the water.

Stopped here today while in Orlando for work. Awesome selection of rods and reels for the salt fisherman. Very fairly priced on everything, with a great selection in store. I spent about $250 in preparation for a trip to Belize, and anything I needed they had. It was nice to see items in stock, rather than have somebody tell you they can order it in for you.

Great shop with a lot of knowledge! Came in front out of town and they were able to help me get on some fish! Very friendly staff who were enthusiastic to help me and my buddy from Missouri.

Great place to forget about life and think about all the fishing you want to do. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable with a great selection of products. They offered to order in something they didn't have in stock to make sure I got what I wanted. Top notch store.

I find myself feeling like a kid in a candy store every time I walk into Orlando Outfitters. The level of expertise from the staff mixed with the endless selection of all things on the fly = my wallet cutting weight with each visit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop for all fly needs and expertise from the staff.

Went in for the first time and basically said "I have no idea what I'm doing, can you guys help me get started?" They were great and helped me pick out flies for the areas and species that I fish for. Will definitely be back.

I always feel the importance of commenting on great companies, their work ethic and operations. At the ripe age of 29 and a 1/2 I decided conventional spin fishing was awesome but fly fishing for slob reds looks insane. I was starting all over and entering a form of fishing that is intimidating being "the new guy," and learning the skills necessary to fly fish. From the first day I stopped in Rob and Barrett always gave me the time of day and answered MANY MANY questions!! For that I am grateful, I have gone to some fly shops and being the new guy to the sport I don't get the time of the day. Rob, Barrett and the whole staff at Orlando Outfitters have been awesome, from answering simple questions about fly lines, what rod/reel is best for what and guidance they have been awesome. I stopped in today to get some fly line replaced, Barrett and Rob both took the time to discuss fly techniques, the excitement of catching my first red on fly and answering questions about what Barrett was doing as he laid line on my reel. You guys are nothing but gracious and awesome, I look forward to many, many more stops in; if nothing more to give and get fishing reports! Thanks to TJ for having such an awesome shop and the other guys who make this place tick!

Very helpful staff. All around one stop shop for fly fishing accessories. Expect to spend some money, as it’s better than what you’ll get at any chain store.

Great fly shop. They were very helpful in terms of how and where to fish Mosquito lagoon. They have a great selection of flies, materials, and all other gear used by fly fisherman.

I love this place.. The guys in the shop are great to talk to.. Attentive and courteous.. it's really pricey but you get great service, and these guys are happy to teach you anything you need to know about fly fishing
