Asian Market

I love this place! They have all of the staples for Chinese and Japanese recipes I like to cook. They have fresh veggies in an area that is a food desert, and some veggies that are harder to find and usually expensive, like baby bok choy and ginger. They're family owned and so friendly, and you can tell that the owners really like all of the products they choose to sell because they tell you that the stuff you are buying is good at checkout!

The prices are great too! You get a lot of bang for your buck here. I got 100 bags of ceremonial grade green tea imported from Japan for $2.95! They change their snack selections frequently so there's always something new to try for a good price.

the cashier was so sweet and kind! they also had fresh lemon and citrus leaves for sale from the plants they grew outside.
I really enjoyed my visit and I can't wait to use my brand new wok!

I love this store, and it’s kind owners. I can get what I need there. Our house burned down in early 2019, and I bought a full set of dishes for our dining table. They had that rice pattern that was popular back in the seventies. A fond reminder of the fun times of my youth. There is so much to discover on those shelves. I lovingly recommend this store.

I love this place more than any other grocery store. And that's for one simple fact, they treat you like family. Mama ( the elderly Asian women) is so sweet and helpful. And papa (elderly Asian man) is hilarious.

Perfect place to get your Asian cooking needs like hot bean paste, shrimp paste, star anise, etc.

Spacious and uncrowded, which is a plus since the community levels and transmission levels are both high. Had most of what we came for, including a nice cookware section and small but fresh array of veggies. Very nice staff (or owners).

Love this market! They have frozen durian, Chinese fruit candies and all the Chinese ingredients one needs to cook authentic Chinese and Thai dishes. Beautiful china as well.

If you are looking for Asian ingredients that chain stores like Giant and Safeway don't carry, stop here. The owners are really nice and they have a wide selection of products. I went there for the first time the other day, but I will definitely be going back. Let's support our local retailers.

This place is great for most of your asian grocery store needs. I can get fresh Thai basil, bok choy, and other veggies. They have tons of sauces and curry pastes that are significantly cheaper than anywhere else. There's also cookware and plenty of options for spices.

Asia food has been around for decades. They are very dependable for stocking all the basics for Asian cooking. For more exotic items one might have to travel to H Mart in Ellicott city. But this store is a mile from my house, their prices are fair and the owners are friendly, so I can’t complain.

This place is amazing; I tell my friends that it's like H-Mart met Save-a-Lot met a Baltimore corner store. I often stop by here just because I'm in the area (when don't even need anything), just to see if I get any ideas for new things to cook or new tastes to taste. Because they're smaller than H-Mart, they don't carry a ton of backstock, so I always find something new with each visit.
All of the food is extremely affordable, but the staff is sweet and helpful as well! As far as I can tell, the only employees are an older man and an older woman, though I occasionally see a younger man help out with deliveries. I try to bother the man and woman as little as possible because they're always busy with something, but when I need a particular item they stop whatever they're doing and walk through the store to show me where it is.
Most recently, the man even went to the back to bring me some produce that wasn't set out yet -- I needed cabbage for a recipe -- and prepared, bagged, and weighed it for me right there. The woman usually picks up on what I am trying to make based on my purchases, and gives me tips and suggestions accordingly. This is a true gem of a grocery store and I'm grateful it exists.

is run by the oldest couple i've ever met. they are very helpful and polite. they usually have all the asian things i can't find in a white grocery store.

This is a very good and affordable place to get ingredients. They have many hard to find items like fresh lemongrass, coconut kaya, shrimp pastes, dry beancurd, so many kinds of noodles, snacks, sticky rice, sweet rice flour, frozen durian, chrysanthemum tea, lots of frozen dim sum, frozen pandan leaves, and a big selection of pickles, seaweed and canned/dried goods. They don't have a lot of fresh produce but they DO have fresh choy sum, gai lan, daikon, and fresh Vietnamese herbs. They also have a huge bulk spice selection including many Indian spices. The checkout is a little slow but the owner lady is super nice! They have been open in Baltimore for thirty years!!! Lastly, they have a big selection in the back of affordable cooking equipment including woks that are big enough for opening a restaurant with :O

I drove 18 Wheeler Pass this place 20 times.. Had to deliver there couldn’t find it toured the city of Baltimore looking for it when I found it those people were nice.. what are Popeyes then came back got unloaded.. brought real noodles there they were cool tho.. Enjoyed the experience of Baltimore even though it’s so hood over there

They had Katsu sauce, NOH fried rice mix, bean threads, rice sticks, and the Thai Green Chili paste I needed. Nice!
