The Council Shop

We recently moved into a rental house nearby with nothing more than a few suitcases. Starting over.
This place has been a real savior for us! We’ve found some great furniture AB’s other household items, and all of the employees are great! They really go above and beyond to help and assist! We didn’t have a car and they connected us with a delivery person, who was also great!! When we did rent an SUV and could move a couple more things, they helped move things into the vehicle. Absolutely great place!

This place is a great place to donate your old, gently used or no longer needed items. And you actually know they will be put to good use.

This is where I find the best deals the always have quality thrift finds for personal pleasure and reselling unique pieces. With this being said they are a bit higher priced so I’m much more selective but I also never seem to buy junk I don’t need it’s always pieces I end up in love with. Also the refreshing part is that they give employees the power to reasonably barter the price if there’s a logical issue with something being way over priced or defective. They won’t let you get away with unwarranted price drops by any means but again they are able to apply logic and decide if your request is legitimate right there on the spot. They don’t need to run in back and wasting time asking permission from a manager like they do at most Goodwill’s. Like usual I found a few great pieces and was granted the one price reduction I requested due to an unnoticed flaw. Thank you for understanding logic and hiring great people who are able to carry this out for granting your employees with the power to retain clients for the greater good of the company. Always a pleasure giving such a great company my business!

Quality items, well organized store, dedicated staff for good charitable causes snd community sales

A dizzying array of used clothes, furniture, books, art, bric-a-brac and parking accessible from the alley. You never know what you might find or walk out with. Accepts donations and is a most orderly local thrift shop...Come in as a senior on Wednesday for an extra discount ;-)

Best thrift shop in LA. I have found so many designer items in great condition at this place... and the staff is really cool and friendly. I tell everyone I know to come here! Nowhere better.

This thrift store has a pretty good selection of items that you usually don't find in other thrift stores. (There is a designer label rack). Prices are decent. The store is clean.

My favorite place (s) to shop. I get 80% of my clothes at theses stores! Excellent deals on clothes, jewelry, shoes and household things!!
