Stumbled across the Haggard Hen and let me just say, the owner is a doll, very polite and kind hearted! Very cute boutique with a variety of items from jewelry, to bags and clothing. Highly recommend stopping by!
Update: they opened a new location on Hwy 20 and it is adorable. Try out their buttercream body butter! It smells so good and makes your skin feel so soft! They have super cute clothes with a variety of styles. Can’t wait to go back!

The owner of this place is no less than perfect. She is the sweetest, kindest and helpful person ever. We visited this location in hopes to find my very petite daughter the jeans she dreamed of. The lady was so helpful. We told her exactly what we was looking for and she took personal time devoted to help us find the perfect jeans. My daughter is so happy with the jeans and her experience that she only wants to shop this store from now own. Large selection of apparel and accessories. If I could give 10 stars I would. The owner even gave my husband a jar of shave cream to try, which he has tried ones and is now completely sold. This store is filled with so many unique items. I will never go to another shop for clothes.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I drive nearly 30 miles in just to shop at The Haggard Hen. Such a GEM of a place with the most unique and one of a kind items. I literally love everything about this place. From jewelry to jeans, dresses to jackets. I can’t say enough. The customer service is unmatched and my shopping experience always feels so customized. Special special shout out and thank you to the owner April for putting so much work and creativity into all that she does!

I’m so glad I found The Haggard Hen! The adorable clothes are unique and the boutique’s owner is so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I visit this shop anytime I’m in the area because I always find a new treasure and love supporting a great business owner who truly cares about her customers.

I visited this boutique yesterday. The owner, April, is thoughtful and knowledgeable about the garments she sells. She sells amazing repurposed or upcycled bags made from old army tents and one-of-a-kind garments crafted from vintage kantha quilts, which provide income for women in India.

What a unique place!!! All of the clothing items & accessories are very high quality, all handmade and all authentically unique. It has such a cute style and set up too! Love the name also!!

I found this boutique style clothing store on a recent visit to Ball Ground, GA. They had so many beautiful things from bags, dresses, jeans, halters, belts and jewelry. Very unique items and made with quality fabrics and in sizes that fit all bodies! I bought a halter there and can’t get over how much I love it! My only regret is that I failed to buy a dress, bag, and belt that I keep thinking about🙄. Probably the only place I have been to where I have “non buyer’s remorse”!!! Check it out! You won’t regret it!

I stumbled across the Haggard Hen while visiting Downtown Ballground with my dog.
I was immediately drawn to the “Front Porch” such an inviting and fun place to wonder around.
I was immediately greeting by the owner April when I went into the store. I couldn’t concentrate properly because there were so much cool stuff in there. From homemade whipped body cream (which I purchased and now can’t live without!) to bags that are made from authentic army material. There is also an upstairs where you will spend forever because there is so much to look at. There are also fitting rooms up there too.
I would 100% recommend visiting the store. You’ll find some very unique items.
There is good parking and the owner April was very accommodating as I had my dog! It’s VERY dog friendly which was very important to me!
Go visit this boutique, you will not be disappointed!

April and The Haggard Hen earn this review for 2 reasons. First, I stopped in on a weekday and April the owner had a private showing about to arrive. She graciously helped me pick out something for my wife and within 10 minutes I made my purchase and was on my way. She was mindful, listened and got me going quickly which I wanted.
The wife L O V E D I T !!! Sadly, the jacket lost a button on the shoulder. Jacket is from Italy, they could not just send a button because it was "hammered" on but April did not just walk away or ignore what had happened. She has maintained constant contact with my wife, secured a new jacket and has made the situation right! A true rarity today but I believe April knows and understands customer service. Everyone should visit...A cool eclectic selection, fair pricing, and over the top service!

From the moment I pulled in front of the store which was closed for the day I was greeted by April the owner who genuinely was interested in helping me shop! There are so many beautiful things of incredible quality in this store. You HAVE to stop in. You get what you pay for, so if you want beautiful items that last then look no further. I love the dresses, shirts, flannels, purses, and jewelry! Will definitely be back when I am in Ballground. Thank you April!

Excellent customer service! I had a problem with a purse that I purchased and LOVED and they solved it imediately with no hassle at all. They stand by the merchandise they sell! I adore my purse and I'm so happy with the fast easy solution! I would highly recommend this cute little store.

If you’ve never stopped in to explore this quaint little shop you need to do so. The space is two floors filled with neat attire and accessories as well as lotions, soaps and fragrances. You won’t be disappointed.
