The Woods Event Center & Bar

The Woods was the perfect place to make my dream wedding a reality! Koert & Sarah put so much hard work and love into the building, and treat their customers with the same amount! They both went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special and unforgettable. It was the most beautiful and stress-free day!

Great service great food. Small business definitely making a name for themselves. Never had a bad moment there. Even on there busiest of nights never had to wait more then a couple of mins for a drink. A+++ service.

Prices are very competitive to anyone in the area will definitely be back many more times in the future. Definitely a place to stop and enjoy yourself.

Me and my husband got married at The Woods in May. The venue its self is beautiful and the bar is the perfect addition. Koert & Sarah are phenomenal to work with and definitely go the extra mile to help your day special! The staff are all very friendly and super helpful!

Attended a Hershey company event here and the venue couldn’t have been nicer. One of the organizers told me how the owners made the planning and setup easy and provided support during the entire event.

I could not have imagined us having our wedding / reception at any other venue. We picked The Woods before it ever even began the construction process, Koert and Sarah were great at keeping us in the loop and letting us come see their building progress! And as for our special day, they were right there checking in us periodically asking us for whatever we needed. If we wanted something done, they didn’t blink and made it happen. We had a little injury with our son and they were right there to jump in and help, and have since then texted checking in on him! We couldn’t have asked for more amazing people, staff or a venue for our experience!

The Woods Event Center & Bar is a fantastic place to have a drink, watch some sports/racing and enjoy some delicious pizza! If you're up to it you can try your luck in the gaming room. The service is great and the atmosphere is even better!

Located 5.2 Miles from Robinson Illinois and 4.1 miles from Oblong Illinois the Woods Event Center is a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll. Robinson offers 2 full sized hotels so when the lights come on at the Woods Event Center and they say “ You don’t gotta go home but you can’t stay here!” You really don’t have to go home!! First thing you will notice pulling into the drive of the Woods Event Center is the size. Not since the Empire State Building has man built something so grand. The tasteful, clean, and modern color choice makes you feel like you’re in Beverly Hills in the forest!!! Koert and Sarah are prompt and happy to help and answer all your questions. They make you feel like they are just as excited for your event as you are. For more information on the actual structure just find the man with the fancy hat and a mustache and allow him to paint you a Monet of the constructional beauty that is the Woods Event Center. With ample parking you can drive anything from a moped to a 45ft RV with 3 slide outs 7 TVs and a car in tow. 10/10 would recommend!!

Sarah and Koert are wonderful people that make you feel at home. They treat you with respect and want to make sure your special day is unforgettable. Sarah is quick to help and very resourceful! She has a natural calming spirit even amidst chaos of planning! Koert knows his way around the place very well and is pretty handy too!
