Harbor Freight Tools

I love this place. Good tools and supplies that regular people can afford. I don't care if a lot of people say they aren't professional grade, most of my tools are from there and they all still work! I'll be back!

Harbor Freight Tools is a great store for cheap tools. Over the past couple years their brands have become comparable to some of the top brands like Craftsman, Husky and Kobalt. This place is like a candy store for anyone who needs any kind of tool and accessories that might go with them. Also, if you dont already know, the deals here are unbeatable. I highly recommend taking a drive and strolling around the store, I guarantee you will not be leaving without something!!!

Always awesome here. Lifetime warranty on hand tools and a very extensive warranty on power tools. They will pretty much return anything and replace it. It might be seemingly cheap tools but if you only have to buy that tool once in a lifetime, how cheap is it.

I purchased a large item at another store, brought it home, started assembling and found it had been damaged in the package.

Amsterdam was much closer for me so we tried to return the half assembled product from another store. My expectations were not very high.

It turns out the manager was working the register and she was awesome! She was able to take care of my issue in just a few moments, and we were able to trade a couple of jokes so that in the end we both had a good chuckle. (Of course I did have my receipt as well)

I saw some other reviews that probably point to this same young lady. I hope HF understands and appreciates what an asset this lady is.

Always good, friendly, helpful staff. It is a discount/imported tool store, and people should take that into consideration before bad mouthing the place. You get good quality for the price point. Obviously if you are a professional heavy equipment mechanic or contractor, you may want to spend more money on some items elsewhere. Don't gripe because a tool does not perform like Snapon at a tenth of the price. This place is great for the diy guy and small farmer. It also helps a young professional get a foot in the door when you don't start out being able to afford tool truck brands. You'll also be surprised when a lot of the tools hold up longer than expected. I'm an agricultural mechanic and a small farmer and I have lots of tools from here that have held up pretty well. Sometimes they break, a lot of them get replaced for free. The warranties are worth it. I have some Snapon, Matco, lots of gear wrench, but always come here in a pinch and sometimes when I'm not. When I started out, almost all of my tools were from here and I don't regret it. I would not have been able to afford to live otherwise.

I like this particular location as the staff are very helpful. Harbor freight is not necessarily the best tools, but for the DIY person, they should work fine.

My 4 year old granddaughter and I went to buy a bench vise. We spent some time looking for other possible purchases together. She found some toys that suited her tastes. We ended up just getting the vise and some enjoyable time window shopping together.

THIS harbor freight has the best, most helpful, and nicest staff of any I've been to.
I'm not sure if she was the manager, or shift leader, or whatever. But this lady went wayyyy out of her way to help me load something into the car, was was extra nice about everything the entire time.
I went back twice, and she also remembers my name. Incredibly good service
