They have bronchitis/pneumonia cough meds that I can actually take. Even though it taste nasty it cuts the cough in less than 3 days. So I'll use it just to feel better.

Always fresh produce, and it's awesome going to a place where you know the selection of meat is fresh.

Get the chorizo, salsa, and pico. Make tacos out of it. Yum!

Love this place. They stock products (spices, candy, cheese, produce) you can't find elsewhere in town. The produce is generally of a higher quality than I've found at other local grocers.

They have chicharrones con carne in a heated glass case, the way you might see popcorn in some places. If you haven't tried them, you need to. They are amazing! So addictive! If you are into latin culture this is a cool place to just browse through on your way to the back corner to get your chicharrones.

Fun to see all the foods we miss after moving from LA a dozen years ago... can hardly wait to have the chorizo for breakfast tomorrow! I've looked all over for "Coronita" and here it was in 6-pack or 24-case.
We'll get out Rick Bayless' cookbooks and go back to get more ingredients to make some delicious Mexican meals.

The store employees were very helpful or as much as the could be because i only speak english and they mostly speak Spanish. They were very nice and I did not have any issues shopping here.
