I have to say, when I went into Shoe Market the other day, I wasn’t expecting much. Just looking for a solid knock around shoe that I could grab quickly and get the heck outta there. While I was looking, a salesman approached and asked if he could help. I told him my size and what I was looking for. He asked to see my feet (which are a train wreck) and he told me right away I was wearing the wrong size. Grabbed me a different size than I’d ever worn. It was a different width and length. My feet are in a pretty constant state of pain with any shoes on. The ones this gentleman had me try were unreal. I took a few steps and knew right away that he was right. The size felt perfect. But what I am giving 5 stars for was the whole thing. The whole enchilada. The dude was super nice, and wanted to make sure I got the right thing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, good energy, and he changed my feet’s lives. And it was a breeze. I doubt it took any longer than if I putzed around trying to find something on my own. Excellent service by Barbara and the Shoe Market team! Last week, I had rushed to purchase shoes for a new job that were inevitably too big. When I went back to Shoe Market for a return, I fully expected, arguably so, pushback as you would in many other stores (being that I had no box, the shoes were worn, no receipt).

Barbara helped me walk through many (many!) options and over the course of an hour we found the perfect shoe and she supported an effortless (on my behalf) exchange.

What a great experience! Shopping for shoes for my mother, I wanted stability and easy-on and off.
I was asked by more than one staff member if I needed help; the woman who assisted made great recommendations, offered to find the right color and in the most friendly way, assured me that if they weren't right, I could return them. She shipped them to my mom (for a fee), they arrived in a few days and are perfect! Thank you!

Great shoe selection of current styles- casual, athletic, and formal. Shoe Market also carries a smallish selection of men’s and women’s fashions, socks, accessories, and purses. Helpful staff.

Looking for a great pair of shoes , well made this is the place. Lots of knowledgeable staff to help. Even though they didn't have my husbands size in the boot he wanted they were very helpful in helping us find a place that had it in stock.
They have a great selection of men's and women's shoes.

Hands down most fun store. Staff beyond friendly and ready to help, the variety of shoes was more than my closet can handle. I love love the cute clothing they had. More of a boutique, its a must go.

I have been buying my shoes there for the past number of years. The people working there are polite, willing to help and answer any questions that you have. They have an excellent selection of men's shoes and go far and beyond to make sure that customers are completely satisfied with their purchase before leaving the store. If in the future you are not satisfied with the quality of the shoe, they will listen and come to a mutual understanding. This is a rare quality that you will find in today's society. Awesome folks running this store! Hard working, dedicated. Did everything they could to find and fit me with a good set of hiking boots. No rudeness or comments even though I had just come from working..(construction.lol).

I really enjoyed this little local shop. The people are always super helpful and they have a really great selection. It's not cheap but then that's probably just because of the brands they carry which are very reputable, good quality shoes. Plus, they're an excellent local business to support.

One of the best places to buy shoes, especially if you have certain foot requirements that attention to a good fit. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful, paying attention to customer needs. I ran over to Hingham from Easton to buy my fussy daughter UGGSfor Christmas and I’m so glad I did ! They couldn’t do enough for me. We needed several different sizes and colors to try on. The clerk had to check several places for the sizes I needed and even made a gentle suggestion that the brown were “ON SALE” ! My favorite words! Even better than Amazon. Plus they had plenty of inventory to try on different sizes of the same shoe. I LOVE this store. They carry guaranteed quality shoes ( unlike amazon = knockoffs) at a fair price, really helpful and patient staff . They have a loyalty program that is a great idea for a family. Buy 12 get a pair free. Remember these are quality shoes that you wear to interviews or a special night out. Remember ladies if you want to always have a place to shop and go to lunch- support your local Bricks and mortar -or we won’t have any specialty stores left! SO ,Check them out!

The Shoe Market in Hingham is my go to shoe store. Everyone who works there is always helpful and never pushy. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for quality shoes at a fair price.

I love shoes, and this place is my happy place. Beautiful shoes, helpful sales people, and the prices are good. Worth it to go in store and try on the shoes (vs buying online).
