I love this store, you never know what you will find. If you have time and are in the area or are just passing through, please stop in here. You will not be disappointed, I assure you. With all the oddities you will be sure to love something. I purchased a geode windchime, it’s beautiful and unique and the sound is just lovely.

My favorite store. You can spend hours in here and keep finding new things as you look. The owner, John, is so kind. Truly an amazing atmosphere and so many spiritual products—spices, plants, incense, gemstones, jewelry, flags, mounted bugs, trinket boxes—always well-sourced from growers, artisans, and so on. Affordable as well!

Sticks and stones is an epicurean delight! Located smack dab in the middle of town, on Lawyers Row, it is a tiny gem that sparkles on the street year round. The owner, John, takes great pride in the decor and presentation of each item for sale, as if each has its own place in the cosmos. You will find gems, stones, books, art, international pieces, carvings, collectables, incense and lighting. John is an expert at reading his clients wants and needs, and can suggest just the right thing you are looking for. If he cant, he will point you in the right direction. Sticks and Stones is the perfect place for your hard-to-buy for Christmas list, or birthday list or...just because.

Complete and utter awe walking into this amazing store. Owner is knowledgeable and friendly was such a nice visit. You could literally spend hours jus looking around. Def will be back!!

John at Sticks N' Stones has such an incredible and incredibly varied stock with new items arriving seemingly daily. You could spend an hour in his small shop and still not see all the wonders available, and I mean that in the best way possible. Even after you think you've seen everything of interest, I can almost guarantee something else wondrous will catch your eye. Always friendly and very knowledgeable, John is very easy and engaging to talk to and he has cultivated an incredibly cozy atmosphere. All this on top of the lowest prices for rare and gorgeous stones and oddities I've ever seen. Fair and reasonable pricing doesn't do justice to the great prices I've found at Sticks N' Stones. You'll certainly be doing yourself an injustice should you decide to pass this place by.

My favorite crystal shop, possibly in the whole state. John is always friendly and knowledgeable and he carries a selection for any budget. It's not limited to just crystals either, as the entire ceiling is covered with various hanging oddities (wind chimes, dream catchers, etc.) and the walls all have interesting objects worth checking out.

Such an incredibly unique shop. Words cannot describe how fantastic John is and the absolutely wonderful collection of crystals and oddities he has available here. My wife and I come in from Syracuse just to see what new and strange things John has acquired since our last visit. One of our favorite places in NY.

Such a great shop! I purchased a bunch of crystals and a rune set and could not be happier with them. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The shop had a great selection of items. Will be back next time I am in town :-)

The owner is an absolute delight to speak with. Very knowledgeable on pretty much anything he sells in the store. Everything is a very reasonable price. many handcrafted items. Nothing cheaply made. Very friendly. I highly recommend a visit!

I have found many different kinds of crystal at S&S and have found John has a lot of expertise in identifying and supplying info about the crystals he sells. It's a friendly place with a warm hippie vibe. Happy crystal hunting!

I’ve been coming to Sticks N’ Stones since I was a little kid and every single time I walk through the door I can’t help but smile. It’s such an amazing shop with so much to offer, there’s so many unique and special things there and each one is different! The prices are so competitive and most definitely the best around. I’ve become great friends with the owner over the past 15 years and he is so knowledgeable and helpful! It’s truly and awesome place, if you’re passing through Waterville it’s well worth a stop!

Every time I visit this shop I am greated in a very warm and welcoming manner as if I've just been away from a friend for a short time. There is so much variety in this store it's some days hard to look at it all! Cut gems (especially Herkimers) and everything is a great price. My favorite place to go when I'm home!
