I appreciate and value the service at this Mavis in Gardiner. The quality of service and the expertise of the staff have made me a return customer. My wife had a slow leak in her tire, and she called to see if she could get it fixed before her busy day, and this location was so accommodating. I brought the vehicle in and they began working on it immediately, while I sat in the comfortable waiting area. Work was completed quickly and my wife’s day was saved from having to alter her schedule and reschedule appointments. Thank you and I highly recommend this Mavis Discount Tire in Gardiner, NY.

We had four new tires put on here at Mavis in Gardner and they’re a great group of guys to work with. Recently, we had a slow leak in the right rear tire, which turned out to be a key stuck in the tread. They patched it up and sent us on our way. No charge. Thanks guys and Happy New Year!

I was on my way home from school, in an unfamiliar place and the team at Mavis was kind, helpful, and friendly to me. They fixed the issue immediately and made sure that I understood what was done. They did this out of the kindness of their hearts and did not cost me a dime. Pay it forward.

I was driving back home to Canada and I got a flat in the highway. This was the nearest tire shop and I was so happy that this was the nearest tire shop, these guys were amazing, they took me in right away, they did such a great job, they were friendly, they were professional, and they got me back on the road in no time.
When I called other shops there were saying it was gonna take 2 hours or more. These guys got me back on the road within 45 minutes after having bought a new tire, then they put on a new tire and they checked the other 3 tires because they knew I was gonna be traveling long distance.
They went above and beyond for me, they took care of me and they are so friendly. Thanks, guys. I would 100% recommend them (Brandon and Chris). The best part is they taught me a few things because they are so knowledgeable.

Dave has always been more than helpful and gone beyond expectations each time I’ve brought my vehicle in for services. He’s extremely personable and professional. He cares about the customers and is very thorough from the moment of arrival until the end. I’d highly recommend this Mavis location. I’m a regular and will continue to be. I had to take my car in for a flat tire and they helped to replacement all of them last minute. The service was fast and the guys here are so friendly and personable! I also had an unexpected day off from work so I decided to get my oil changed- again they serviced it last minute. Super convenient! Plus they are so cool to chat with :) deff recommend!

I cannot say anything better about these guys. They were awesome. I had no problems with them. they really took good care of me. They respected me. They spoke to me like an adult and they didn’t play games with me and that’s the kind of service I want so yes I will be driving 40 minutes to come to this Mavis, just to have my car service from here. Not only did I get exactly what I needed car-repair wise, the staff helped with a third party loan issue for over an hour! While none of the situation was Mavis’ fault, they offered support and expressed concern the entire time, which was awesome. Thank you guys and highly recommend!

In August 2023 I was passing through NY on my way to Hershey Park PA. I had a trailer tire blow out on my 37’ travel trailer in Conn. I called Ronnie at Mavis Tire at 5:35pm and they had the tire I needed in stock. Ronnie said come on down and he’d take care of the mounting the new tire before they closed. Mind you their shop closed at 6pm. Ronnie was super nice and they had my tire mounted before 6. Great service and experience. It’s hard to find people who still care and go above and beyond for the customer. Exceptional service and I had a spare tire for piece of mind to finish the trip to PA the next day. Went in to get my tires rotated and balanced, along with an oil change. Brought my own oil and filter which they were happy to work with. Because I purchased tires from them before, my rotation and balance was free. I was in and out in less than an hour. Service was fast and friendly. 100% would go here again! Thanks guys

Big thank you to Mavis Tire in Gardiner. Today was the second time I walked in without appt and they had no problem fitting me in. Went in today as I had a tire indicator light and the tires seemed to be riding rough. Turns out tire pressure was low in all 4 due to the cold but no other issues so they put in air and didn't charge me. They are very friendly and accommodating and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Setting up an appointment was easy and a pleasure. All customers, including myself in the waiting area, were happy with services with regular updates from personnel/mechanical techs and clear, helpful, communication delivered in a respectful and friendly manner.

Great service and fast service! I just moved to clintondale and needed a new mechanic shop. Came across Mavis, 9 mins from my house.. so convenient! I'll definitely return for other repairs. The guys that work there are friendly and down to earth. I also love the living room setup they have!

I’ve been going to mavis for years and they have always served me and my family great. Ronny is easily the best and most trustworthy mechanic I know. He never fails to thoroughly explain what work has to be done, and will even bring down prices if he can. I’d highly recommend to anyone that if they need maintenance for their car they go here.

Very welcoming and kind place to get work done on the car! Everyone I spoke to, both on the phone and in person, was polite and reasonable with expectations of timing and cost. Recommend this location of Mavis for sure!

They are my go to garage from now on. These guys are top notch, very nice and very professional. I needed four new tires and they beat the competitor's prices. A few weeks ago, I had bought a new window visor and could not install it. Two guys came out and spent about 15 minutes helping me with it. Last week, I brought my car to be inspected at another garage and they told me I needed new rear breaks and quoted me $400, so I called Mavis and they beat the price by about $80, and I was in and out of there in two hours. They have a really nice waiting room as well.

My car started to shake after the snow storm so I took it to mavis and everything was explained to me. They helped me understand what was going on. I was told 3 hours and my car was ready in exactly that. The price of all the work needed on the front end would have cost me almost double elsewhere but Ronnie and Dave helped me out. John did a fantastic job on all the work. They even test drive my car to make sure he was happy with the alignment before he released my car. Thank you mavis for all your hard work on my 2012 Nissan Rogue. I highly recommend this Mavis to anyone, such a friendly establishment and experience.

It was a busy Saturday, first one of the month and we scheduled the NYS inspection the night before. Repeat...the NIGHT BEFORE. The Gardiner, NY-based Mavis was the closest one in the area that had the current, standard NYS inspection equipment to do the job. The owner and employees were incredibly nice over the phone and in person. Before you knew it, the job was done. There may have been 7 vehicles before me in the morning, but it didn't feel that way. The reception area was also clean and spacious.
5-STARS -- which means I'll be back this way next year.
