Neat little store in downtown ballground. Stopped in to look and had to get some dilly beans. My grandma used to make them and I grew up eating them.

Made our second stop today. Both times were excellent experiences. Fantastic ice cream, neat and cool products. Today there was a 6 man bluegrass band playing and they were phenomenal. Great store!

I have been an occasional customer of Martin's since they opened a couple of years ago.
I loved when they were the "General Store".
Now that there have become the "Boutique & Decor" store they don't really have anything to offer me. I guess I am not exactly the target demographic.
It's not intended to be a knock. They are really nice. Always welcoming and a big part of the Ball Ground community. I assume they had business reasons for the change. I truly hope it works out for them.
Just sad that I can no longer sit under their porch with my kids and eat ice cream.

Plenty of nice gifts to buy, plus great fudge and ice cream.

Update Nov 2017: Martin's has gone through a major change. No more ice cream, vegetables or candy. They now have several nice lines of clothing, home decor and even some locally made items. Stop in to see the new changes.

This place is adorable! I like getting fresh vegetables and old time candy. My son loves getting an ice cream treat and sitting at the picnic table.

This is a very quaint, homey store with a nice variety of merchandise including t-shirts and fresh produce. I recommend the Banana Pudding ice cream, it is definitely worth a try!
