The most helpful employees and so kind. I came in looking for some cold medicine and a thermometer and they helped me find everything I needed. And the Starbucks Baristas were the BEST! Made me feel better by the time I made it out to my car. Thanks Safeway!

Safeway has lots of great foods in produce. I love the stuffed Pirandello mushrooms. They are friendly and have great customer service. As opposed to City Market, who have rude employees that treat you like you should be honored they let you in to their store. You know when two stores have products that basically very close in price. I am going to choose the store where the customer service is amazing. Not the one that is unfriendly, and cannot seem to answer questions. Safeway stores are very clean, brightly lit and have great things that are unique to them. Kroger has turned the once promising deli into just foods that have no flavor, it’s boring and sloppy. They make poor marketing decisions and have a big hand in the way the food industry adds more sugar to our diets, remove the nutrition and basically is poisoning all. In my opinion I worry that I might be getting some lab grown food, using animal DNA. What kind of animal and I am tired of it “taste like chicken”.

Very nice grocery store. Extremely clean and well stocked. Bakery was excellent.

They are so much better than City Market and Walmart.
I never have problems with Safeway and I will always prefer to go here before going anywhere else. They have the best and freshest meat in town.

Great flowers today for Valentine's and fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate! Cashier's and store personnel are always friendly!! The shelves are very well stocked and organized.

From what I've experienced and observed. Anytime there is an issue with freshness officially addressed, it is swiftly answered to and taken care of in a polite manner.

It's really nice to see a store put so much effort into meeting quality, because quality/freshness are a always on the run.

This is my favorite local store and continues to outshine the rest.

Safeway has the best German Chocolate Cake found at a grocery store with no lack of coconut topping.

Safeway on Horizon drive is a great place to shop.
the staff is friendly and very helpful they have a great flower selection, I always hit the clearance rack which is in the back of the store near the dairy.
I suggest loading their app and using a digital coupons you'll save quite a bit.

I I love this Safeway you have an excellent staff there and a used selection of grocery products they have everything just about anything that you could possibly want with the exception of possibly Hardware items Etc it is just I think it's on Verizon Drive and it's below the motel strip going towards St Mary's Hospital it's it's a wonderful spot and they have a bevy of other businesses surrounding that Safeway enjoy your enjoy your visit there

I always enjoy shopping at this Safeway! The store is always well stocked. The employees are fantastic, especially at the seafood and meat counter!! They always have assisted us when we are looking for steaks and seafood. Our grandsons loved the steaks!! Perfect cooked on the grill just like you said. My favorite place to grocery shop when in Grand Junction.

This location can't keep wifi working for their shoppers. Working wifi is an essential tool for the modern world and the inconvenience makes me use other locations or stores altogether. This isn't a single incident, and is the standard here for at least the last couple of years. All other locations can manage a working signal.

While I appreciate the respones this situation has yet to be resolved. I can't trust people with my food if they can't figure out a router.
Adding a star for each consecutive instance of the wifi working!!! Hopefully this is resolved.

****Finally, been in 3 times with fudgy( area does have a dead zone) but workable signal.
Skipped going to 4 star because what a smile in that floral dept.

Always clean and friendly.

They had all the birthday party supplies needed, including balloons and cake. I make special mention of the bakery: they have every beautiful pastry, pie, cake, and anything you can think of. I needed a cake, and had to wait only about 5 minutes for personalized at and messaging!

Good products, great customer service fresh veggies ECT & the music was hot & feel good, the best, put me in a dancing & singing mode & wow a great shopping feeling, really fig their vibes, was great, relaxing & feel good mood, did not want to leave the music , it was that good! Lol!! Did not need stomach anything, that how good their selection was!!

Usually get fuel here when heading to or from Denver. Their deli is well stocked with very tasty items at a reasonable price & the restrooms are ALWAYS clean & stocked. The staff is always friendly & helpful, too. It's worth the few blocks off I-70 to go there if you need more than just a quick fuel fill.

I have traveled throughout the US and have shopped at so many Safeways in my travels. This market has everything and the customer service is top notch! Shena is a gem and the managers work hard to ensure a positive experience at this Safeway. The store is also clean, has a great selection of produce, floral section is beautiful, and the shelves are well stocked.

The store is very clean and has a wide variety of high quality, produce and other food items. They're a bit more expensive than Walmart or City Market but if you are driving down Horizon Drive, on your way to or from i-70, they are very convenient. Many of the staff members have been there 10 plus years and are very polite and professional.

The place has very good quality of food here. I love all the pre-made lunch packs you can grab.

Staff is always helpful and friendly. Very clean, attractive displays and always fresh.
