My experience at CVS located at 5044 Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette LA was a great one, thanks to Sarah at check-out and William, the manager. While several CVS locations are in close proximity to me, I will make this location my main stop in the future. Thanks, Sarah and William!

Easy to make an appointment. No waiting. Privacy was considered. Two injections were smooth. Staff was great.

This CVS location is great. It is very convenient for us so we often stop here on the way home from Lafayette. We stopped there last week after a doctor appointment and the employee working in the front was really friendly and helpful. My son said he was the nicest store employee he's ever seen/met, lol.

I really love the new self checkouts in the store, too. They were really easy to use and super convenient. I hope the CVS store local to us gets them soon.

Pharmaceutical workers are overworked and understaffed! Extremely grateful for this pharmacy and their workers. They are always polite and extremely helpful!

My experiences have been mixed. Mostly due to basic customer service. It takes alot for me to leave a negative review.

Understaffed and slow.

By far the worst customer service I have ever seen. Staff will definitely treat you less than. Towne pharmacy is so much better.. I will drive the extra miles for a better customer service experience! Thanks for nothing!

Wouldn’t even give it one star. The only reason I even use CVS is due to my insurance no longer being accepted at Walgreens. They can’t seem to keep the pharmacy open due to short staffing. Pitiful. Maybe it’s time to quit building new locations until they can staff the ones that they already have.

I only go to CVS because my insurance only covers Rx filled there. I called this morning to refill an injection for a Dr's appt tomorrow. I rec'd no notification that they were out of stock until I arrived this afternoon to pick it up. I asked if any other locations had it and was told maybe River Ranch. I asked if she could call, and no, I had to. I called River Ranch and they had it, but couldn't fill it b/c it was in progress at Ambassador Caffery. I asked if she could cancel it from Ambassador, and was told that I had to do it. I went inside to the pharmacy and had the refill canceled. I called River Ranch back, and it still showed in progress at Ambassador. When I you'd her that I had canceled it, she was suddenly able to move the Rx to the River Ranch location. Why couldn't this have been done when I called River Ranch the first time? No effort to help a customer. If my insurance didn't dictate that I have to use CVS, I would never set a foot in there.

I came here to get a prescription filled and they were out of stock and would have to order it. I called Walgreen's and they did have it, however, when I called to have the prescription transferred the pharmacist tech asked me to have it done at another CVS. I was fine with this and she told me it would be ready in 1 hour. After arriving at the other CVS I was told they had no record of such prescription. 20 min goes by and they finally tell me that when the tech at this CVS went to transfer the prescription it 'vanished'. I understand that things happen but I was not given a call to inform me what had happened, she just made me drive across town for no reason. I was able to get prescription filled the next day.
