Third time playing here. My son requested we go to RATS for his birthday trip. We love playing here. Awesome owners, field, and community!! See y'all next time!

I played their zombie event and had a lot of fun. I can't recommend this field enough. The staff we incredibly nice the field layout was perfect between the school interior and the outside. We had to buy a few things from their store they had a wide selection that was fairly priced

My son and I just recently got in to airsoft. The owners,staff and players have all been very helpful and took the time to answer questions or help with a couple of problems we had with a rifle we had.
The only complaint I have is that we didn't get into it sooner. Dead of winter isn't ideal but we still enjoy it. 😂

Absolutely love this place. I come here every once in a while and love every part of it, the people, the refs, the owner, the shop keepers, and the players. every time I come here with my friends we always have an absolutely amazing time, The field plays very well and the game modes are top tier. The whole community is very friendly and always try to help the best they can with any problem you have. There was one time I went with a group of 5 of my friends and my one buddy was having gun problems and the staff was helping and gave us a free rental to use while we figured the problem out and eventually got his gun working again thanks to them. Thank you for that and I really do love this field.

My son REALLY wanted to go to an airsoft field for his 13th birthday. Being new to the whole airsoft thing, I called the three places that I could find online that were closest to me.
One place was hard to get ahold of (would not return emails and voicemail full🙄). Another place honestly just gave me bad vibes when I spoke with the woman on the phone. 😬 The third place I tried was RATS.
I ended up
choosing this place because, TBH, they made it easy. I spoke with Debbie on the phone and she was sweet, friendly, and very patient with my many questions.
The facility, an old abandoned school, was SO cool! There were a lot of people there that day and I have to admit, I was a little intimidated! Let me tell you though, the people at RATS were super nice and helpful! They truly went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday special. Not only was the staff super nice, but so were the other players! So many people (not just staff) wished my son happy birthday and offered advice and help to us newbies. I highly recommend this place. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

For sure a 5/5! This place was outstanding. My wife and I drove 2 hours today to play and for sure will be back. It’s so unique since it utilizes an old school and that just adds an intensity to the game like no other. The game modes were fun. The refs were by far more engaged and active than I have seen at any field before. All of the areas were really nice and thoughtfully designed. We can’t wait to go back!

RATS is very professional, organized, and passionate about what they do. Their game modes are bar none the most exciting I have played and usually include multiple objectives that require organized team work. RATS has something for everyone of all ages and skill levels. You can battle it out in the twisting hallways of the school, or creep stealthily through the wooded areas for that perfect and timely flank! The courtyard has a really fun maze as well as unique barriers like a tank, boat, and helicopter! If you’re new to the sport and are in proximity to this place then please give them a try. You won’t regret it!

This place should be rated Top 3 in the state. The people, the atmosphere, the energy, and the overall experience. Top tier! While I’ve only been to one other field since joining the hobby, RATS outs that field to SHAME, quit embarrassing actually how the other place operates. Even the players have respect for this place. The field itself is very versatile and the staff makes you feel so beyond welcome. RATS has their business run far from what others may call “competition” fields. I was impressed for my first time attending. 🙏

I’m a first timer here, and as well playing airsoft for the first time ever. For my first time experience from visiting the store, to hitting the ground engaging in a fun shoot out with almost 100+ people, my first time experience was nothing short of amazing. From walking into the doors, I was approached with kindness, and with all the help I could ever need. I met the family that owns this establishment, and they made sure I was welcomed, helped, and answer any questions I had to think of. I asked for recommendations, they gave me unbiased, open minded choices that made it easier for me to spend comfortably. I had a budget, but I was willing to be flexible to get what I need. Thank you so much for making me feel like its home, I will be back again and soon!

Great astomphere. Great facility. Awesome staff. Very friendly place for airsofters of any skill level. Plenty of regulars to help new comers. Game modes are creative and updated weekly. Environment is ever evolving based on player feedback. I highly recommend RaTs Airsoft.

I have been playing for many years and when Rats opened I was very excited to see what they had to offer. With indoor and outdoor fields and a well stocked store along with different game plays and additional fields that incorporate buildings, vehicles, trenches, hallways, dark rooms jail cells and more this was truly what I was looking for. Coupled with a family friendly atmosphere and good owners my self and my son have loved playing here sense opening. We both always look forward to the next game day as its something new and always leave wanting to come back! I feel the refs and owners are fair and un biased and will call out the regulars just as much as the new people which keeps the sport fair and enjoyable! Plus the regulars are kind and helpful to new players and always look to make sure the younger crowd are enjoying it as well with safety at the top of the list! over all great people wonderful field that is well managed and will always consider this my home field to play and bring my little man!

Everything about this field is absolutely fantastic. Never had more fun at any other field in NC. The staff are very nice, the unique modes are very fun, for the most part the players there are very fun to play with, and most of all the field itself is super fun. Has everything from indoors, to open ground, to woodland as well. It is a little expensive but honestly it is worth it. Totally recommend!

Jeremy and the rest of the staff are great. You couldn't ask for a better experience and service. Welcoming environment and they are always glad to see you. Spend your time and money here. These folks deserve and appreciate it.

I’ve been taking my son and some of his friends since RATS opened and it has become their favorite field in the triad. The indoor/outdoor option is the winning feature of this field. The professional, family friendly atmosphere and less muddy clothes are what wins it for this mama!

Everybody here is as chill as can be, they're very professional but still keep things fun. The store has almost anything you would need to have a good time and if they don't have something in stock they will try their best to get whatever you need relatively quickly. They are growing and adding more field space and new games modes consistently. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get into airsoft or any one looking for a good field nearby. I try to bring new friends every week and so far everyone I've brought has had a good time and even a couple bought their own guns and come on a regular basis now. Overall great place and great people

One of the best regular-day airsofts fields I have ever played on. The concept of the field is very interesting and exciting to play. The game modes are very fun to play with new ones being added every week. Sportsmanship from the regular players is the best I've ever seen. Referees are professional during games and ensure that everyone is following the rules and ensure safety is the upmost priority at all times. The owners and everyone that helps run the shop and field are respectful, kind, and professional all the way around. I am grateful to have such a well organized airsoft field to play at and can't wait to see what the future holds for RATS. Thank you everyone for allowing us to come play!

As an avid Airsoft player, I have traveled and played on fields all over. I was excited to learn about nearby RATS Airsoft. Upon my arrival, the staff quickly recognized that I was new and came over to introduce themselves and welcome me. The check in was quick and as a group, we had a safety briefing and walk through of the grounds. Our guns were tested to make sure they were in compliance with field regulations. I had my own, but there was also a store to rent and buy equipment. We were separated into teams and went through the day participating in objective based games both indoor and out. I enjoyed this as it showed that there was thought put into the experience as opposed to just open air shootouts. The staff was fun and professional. They kept the excitement going throughout the day while ensuring safety as a top priority. I’ll definitely return and recommend the business for both new and experiences players!

Always a good time and the refs do a great job

Have been playing airsoft for over 11 years now and played paintball for over 13 years prior to that and have have played at all kinds of fields. One thing this field does differently over any other field I have ever attended/played at is the fact that Jeremy and the rest of the RATS staff makes you feel like family from the moment they first meet you! On top of that, the field itself is unique being both indoors and outdoors. They have improved on the field so much in such little time being open with plenty of more plans for improvement to come. They continue to bring out more and more potential from the field with still plenty of potential to come! Even with the endless possibilities, the field is solid and a great field to play on. Come out and play and support your airsoft fields! Lastly, they have a great store with plenty of your airsoft needs! Thank you Jeremy for building and creating RATS!

Best airsoft field in NC right now. Staff is extremely nice, owner is actively involved in the daily operation. Never had a better player receptive experience in the years Ive played, and dozens of fields Ive been to.
