ROOT ROT

I visit this little shop about a week and a half ago. I walked in and immediately saw these beautiful plants and crystals, along with taxidermy, fossils and even an all natural skincare collection. The vibe is so warm and welcoming and I felt relaxed as I browsed through the store. I ended up purchasing some really cool items and I even came back a few days later for more! Steven and David run this business together as a couple. I’ve known Steven and David for years now, and to see the love and care they put into this business is beautiful. This has easily turned into one of my favorite spots to shop! If I could give this place 10 stars on here I would. I seriously recommend stopping by if you enjoy nature and crystals!

This is the place to be! They have the best selection of plants and rocks. I bought the cutest pair of snake earrings and rose water spray to bring back home with me and I absolutely love them. The owners are the absolute best. SO kind and give exceptional customer service. Couldn't recommend ROOT ROT more!!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Root Rot is. To start, the owners are the cutest couple in the whole entire world. They are the most sweet, pure people, and are so welcoming and friendly, and just have an amazing aura to them. The shop itself has to be one of my favorite places to be, and admittedly have been going every week (sometimes even twice a week) because I love it so much. There are so many amazing high quality products that fill the store, from their beautiful healthy plants, to their amazing all natural skin care, crystals, candles, and more. They support so many different small businesses, and have such amazing finds that you wouldn’t find outside of their store. Their prices are great, and they constantly have new stock coming in, and everything they have in the store they know so much about. It’s just such an amazing place, and once you go in to the store you will never want to leave.

Plant lovers, nature loves, decor and oddity collectors… this is the shop for you! The owners were splendidly charismatic, sharing knowledge and recommendations, within their beautifully curated oasis. Prices were extremely fair for the rarity and quality of goods; fossils, insects, skulls, crystals, succulents, philodendrons, monsteras, swiss cheese plants, snake plants, and so much more! Very eager to return and to see their business continue to grow!

If you love plants, nature, crystals, all things earth, please do yourself a favor and visit this shop! It is dreamy! I honestly want to live in it!!! Such a great selection of all earthy things (ps- rare plants too if you’re lucky to get in before they’re snatched up). The owners are so knowledgeable and sweet. Worth the trip every time!

This is such a fantastic little shop! The vibes are immaculate and David was an absolute delight!! The care that they put into buying product, styling and creating a warm atmosphere is so evident. Highly recommend for plant lovers, your witch friends, the nature people and anyone who loves a great candle (and so, so many other goodies!!)

Such a wonderful little place! You step inside and it’s like being transported to a different world. They we so friendly and good with questions. And everything I got was so pretty

Absolutely loved this shop! This is a great unique store to stop in if you're looking for oddities, cool items, and PLANTS! The shop owners were so nice and just a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend checking out this store if you haven't been!

First time at the newest location! The space is well-curated, peaceful, and beautiful. Every table has a uniquely themed display. There is so much to look at and go through. There is something for everyone here, between bones and fossils, plants, soaps and candles, and crystals. I love coming here for gifts as well as for myself. My children also love the store and remarked, in wonderment, "It is a jungle in here!" And truly, the space is very natural, you feel like you are in nature. Always treated well and welcomed whenever we enter the space.

I absolutely LOVED this place. It's like a whole other world the moment you walk in. Plants, natural wonders, and knick knacks galore! The owners are SO friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. They were so helpful and so easy to talk to in a way that made them feel like old friends. Wonderful store. Came up from Boston to check it out and it was so worth the trip. Thanks, Root Rot, for the goodies!

Went on opening weekend and loved it! I scooped up a couple crystals and a plant. Love the decor and the owners are super nice and sweet. If you’re in the area it’s a must see

This place has now moved location.
It has admittedly lost a bit of it's charm due to no longer being located inside of a greenhouse, but they still have a great assortment of wonderful accoutrement for those us non-normies 😅

They now have more than ever in their store, plants, animals, crystals, candles, related books and sorts of fun oddities...

I still recommend it being well worth the drive to stop by. 💕👍

This place is truly wonderful.

It is actually quite small inside, but every square inch is packed full of beautiful decorations, plants, crystals, displays and other accoutrement.

Regardless of where you are in New England this place is definitely worth a visit. ❤

Steven and David are so knowledgeable and kind hearted. Their shop always has something new and interesting, so it's my go to for a unique botanical or scientific gift! Happy to have seen them evolve from am online store to a beautiful brick and mortar!

i loved shopping here! it was so nice to talk to the owner and he knew so much about his plants. they have a wide selection that grows weekly, and they’ve got all your crystal needs. they had such unique books here! i will definitely be shopping here again.
