Stop & Shop

I was there at 1020am this past Saturday (10/21/23), not a lot of customers, clean, and the cashier very pleasant. I like, or should I said prefer going to stop & shop in co-op city to do my shopping. Btw I live in the Fordham Rd area. Thumbs up for the management and staff for a well maintained stop & shop.

Friendly Cashiers, Friendly Deli Staff, Fresh Baked goods.

Only complaints are the last Rotisserie chicken I purchased from the deli section had a whole BITE taken out of it. & Yes the box was sealed closed with a sticker 😂😭

My favorite supermarket, where people are willing to help with a smile, and always say thank you. Please keep it up because I quit going to the other supermarkets nearby because I only get good service here

Customer Service is amazing. Felix M in the meat department and Felix A. in Sea Food are such a great team to work with. I hope they see this review and know its the big guy who loves talking to them about their experience and history at stop & shop. God Bless them and the entire staff.

This is a great neighborhood store with a variety of items the regular store doesn't have. It's one of my favorites.

Great food, nice, and not that crowded shopping experience.

My first time here. A quick visit. Gotta come back! Good sales. Clean. And noticed some perks , And newspapers! I haven't seen that in a long while.

Big supermarket more foods than other regular stopshop locations

It was fine. I had to buy a bunch of fried chicken at the last minute so I took the packages if the 8 pieces...the gentle said your supposed to order it if I needed that much. I told him I forgot to call in advance but he reassures me that I could have called even if it was last minute. I appreciated the fried chicken is so good.

The staff was helpful and the lines moved quickly. They had almost everything on my list (except for the gingerbread mix and the Mrs. Dash!!). My only real complaint is that none of the 3 stores in my area have Fancy Feast cat food in the creamy variety. There is more than the one flavor they carry. You should order different ones. I know I'm only one person but I can hope!!!

Thank you so much Cheryl! I forgot my debit card at home, and she held my few items for me until I returned back. It was a much better experience compare to Stop and shop (522), in Yonkers New York. Outstanding Service Cheryl!!!

I love shopping at stop and shop.. I go in for one or two items and I end up leaving with an overflowing shopping cart with loads of food .. love to buy in bulk..love the quality of their poultry..beef..salmon if they have a sale ..you have to go the same day or else they'll run out!. I love to shop when there is a sale..

There are 2 Stop and shops in coop city and this is definitely the better location. Good staff but the only thing the other location has over this one is the seafood counter. Other than that shop at this one.

This location is a good place to come if you're looking for a calm atmosphere. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Everything is always clean but there is usually a bit of a wait, at the registers but not something too dramatic. It is a decent place to do some shopping

impressive large various bread, rolls, English muffins, rye, hamburger buns, hot dogs, bagels and there is fresh bakery dept but vitamins stocks bad organized limit options, however. there is Pharmacy within the stop & shop gave good service

I love stop in shop . buy for years. love the sales everything is fresh. But I give zero to the meat department. the employees there very very nasty and rude. with all the customers. I want to get ribes. the employee said to me no. take it home like that because I am not cutting for. the 3 employee are nasty are lazy. I tell can u cut the turkey nech the employee said no I cut my self at home. I report them still there. I miss sandra she was the best in employee there.. All customers need to report the employee work in the meat department.

My experience was good so far this’s my first visit . I will let you guys know my outcome.

Very clean and big store. For me, it was easy to find what I want and leave with no lines to wait in. The people who work here were friendly me. I'll continue shopping here.

This is a good Stop and Shop. I like the managers. Very nice and personable. Very down to earth and help you with whatever is needed.

Pharmacists is a VERY NICE GUY (respectfully saying)!! Very helpful and sweet. He helps, even to the point of going to the isles and helping you with any medication you need. Very aware of people's needs. I really have nothing bad to say.

However some of the cashiers are a little bit immature and have a little bit of an attitude. But all in all is a good store. Nice people
