Super nice people, always talkative n kind.

Came in today as I am new to the area. I went to check out with two Red Bull’s and a bag of chips, I ask the lady behind the counter for a turkey sandwich because I thought the case was enclosed on the customers side. She rudely says “ you can go get it” and immediately displays a passive aggressive stance. So, thinking she may have thought I was being rude or heard me wrong, I said “ I’m sorry I thought it was only accessible from your side” to which I received no response, or eye contact. I was the only one in the store, she wasn’t busy by any means. I come back to the counter with a sandwich and say “hows your day going so far” and she replied “fine” very sternly. I was baffled. Her attitude, body language, and the experience she presented me as a first time customer is the reason I will not do business at this market.

Edited- Dropped from 2 stars to 1 star for being asked to explain my situation by the owner and having zero response after. Clear that they do not care about their business or customers.

They must have changed ownership since my first visit! Their customer service is beyond superb and their deli always provides fresh delicious food that I have gone back for lunch a few times while working in the area. The gentleman in back who prepares the food is always awesome and the woman out front is nothing short of an absolute pleasure! Sorry I didn’t update sooner!

The new owners turned this market around. Very clean and organized, but the best part is their new lunch menu. Their teriyaki and rice plates are awesome! By far the best thing to eat in town.

Everything you need in a convenience store with super friendly staff on hand.

This place is my go to for a quick stop on my way to work. Great owners and staff.

Great place ! This is the only place that I buy my cigarettes Great friendly fast service.

I do not know where they get there chicken and rice from but its fantastic!!!!!

The only place I buy smokes in town. Consistent service and staff. Lots of beer selections, as well as a deli during the day. Also carries medicinal smoking supplies such as glassware and accessories.

Clean family owned small market in Gold Hill Or, has a big variety of needs for shopping of beverages, food ordering menus, and most of all those items you may need when others are closed , weekend hor are until 11pm .

This place has a teriyaki chicken bowl that you've got to try!
