Galice Resort

We love coming here for a geass fed burger on the deck along the Rogue River. Beautiful drive out there and always friendly service. Really good well done fries - some seasoning makes them special.

I'll say up front: I recommend coming here.

The view of the Rogue River is beautiful from the large deck. They have decent beer selection. The food is totally great and they have a good variety of options. Their fish tacos are ridiculously great! They also often have lived music on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have WiFi. They even have a cool gift shop.

However... You will wait. Just know there service will be a tad slow. Go in expecting that. But otherwise it's a great place to grab a bite, a view, and to relax.

Where do I start!? Debbie and her team are hands down the best on the water. We count down the days until its time to go again. Great rentals, super yummy restaurants (get the ribs when they have them!) and really cool souvenirs. We always feel at home when we are in Debbie's hands. Thanks for making our summers so fun and giving us something to look forward to!!!

I was in charge of booking two overnight stays for 16 women for before and after our rafting trip. We've rafted the Rogue River for the past 18 years and every year we've gone, we've ended up at Galice for dinner one of the nights so I looked into staying there as well.
I found the Lodge House which sleeps over 20 people. This house was perfect for my group not only for the size, but the convenience. The 2nd floor has 6 bedrooms each with their own bathrooms - that is the perfect situation for my group of 16 women!
Not only was the house great to stay in, but the food, music and staff at the Main Lodge are great. Debbie and staff were very welcoming and warm and were very helpful to our group. They worked with us to ensure everything went smoothly between our stay and our rafting trip/group. The food is excellent and the live music was a great treat. The restaurant deck overlooks the beautiful Rogue River - can't get much better than that!
I would highly recommend staying here or even just stopping by for a burger and a brew.

Thank goodness the River Queen is back!! Her & her crew are extremely excellent, and happy to serve. That last manager, sheeze, she was a total MONSTER towards customers. And her staff was walking around on eggshells. 5 stars for Galice location and live music too!!

I have always loved renting rafts/tahitis from Galice Resort! Seven of us started at Hog Creek, rafted back to the resort and it was a blast! The rafts are always in great condition, and they always tell you the dangers before you start out on the river. The staff are all so kind, and so helpful. They have awesome $3 dollar ice cream cones, and though I never ate there the food smelled amazing. Thank you for an awesome experience every summer!

I am so sorry to hear about the recent fire. But I am ready to support them and book my next raft trip through them. I want to support the business, they've always been amazing and a favorite spot on our Rogue River trips.

Support Galice! It's an awesome little resort that has great cabins, and offers a great rafting experience... They had a fire in their restaurant which was devastating. But they are pulling themselves back up by their bootstraps to keep the business going. Please help support them as they are a great part of our community.

We had a family reunion this week at the Galice Resort Riverview House. Most of the ten adults who spent three nights at this amazing location, which overlooks the Rogue River, were traveling from out of state. The savings were substantial, compared to hotel and restaurant costs. We were expecting rustic accomodations, but were surprised to see that the Riverview House had been recently updated. The house was very open with abundant windows and was tastefully decorated. There were two spacious indoor areas perfect for gathering and conversations. A large dining table with chairs and bench, capable of seating ten people, was next to the modern, well-equipped kitchen. My favorite spot was the large deck with a barbeque, dining table, hot tub, all surrounded by tall trees plus a fabulous river view. The house has three bathrooms and five bedroom areas. Linens were plentiful, and there was even a washer and dryer. Wi Fi connection was available as well as a landline phone.
Everything was clean and attention to detail was evident. Even the parking was generous as we could easily park six cars right in front of the house. I can't say enough to recommend this location. We were all impressed with our stay at the Riverview House.

I wasn't a guest at the resort but I did stop in for ice cream after a nearby hike. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a beautiful patio overlooking the river and there's a small shop that has good combination of essentials and souvenirs.

This place is a national treasure. The fire destroyed the structure, but their can-do-attitude, and willingness to stay in business is pure gold. Support The Galice Resort. We need them back in full force! And the river/whitewater community needs them desperately! Keep up the good (and now, even - much - harder work!)

I was in Merlin for a rafting trip, and got a stomach bug just a couple hours before the put-in. The staff found me a clean room, heated it up for me, and waited overtime until my ride was able to pick me up from Portland.

The accommodations were warm, clean, and comfortable. If I hadn't been throwing up and miserable, it would have been a lovely experience.

Been coming here for 14 years. Always a great experience. Wonderful crew, good equipment, great outside dining and live music. Come for the rafting stay for dinner and ice cream.

My salmon burger was delicious, our waiter was wonderful, and the live music good and not too loud. Great place to go with a large group/family to have a great time!

we came here for vehicle shuttling services while we rafted the rogue. the owner is super sweet and friendly. we bought our waterproof map, coffee, and postcards. no complaints what so ever. thank you for shuttling our vehicle!

Stayed in the cottage this time. Well appointed, coffee in room, super clean we over overlooked the resort so Saturday night music on our balcony a BONUS. OWNER: DEBBIE THOMASON the ultimate host. Canny wait to go back. Great burgers, amazing breakfast and just a hidden gem.

The Riverview House at the Galice Resort is heaven on earth! The perfect boaters pre and post Rogue River trip basecamp, ideal for our group of 12. Comfy beds for all, large kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain, a full laundry with not one but TWO washers and dryers, a large living room AND a family room with a pool table, plus the icing on the cake...the HOT TUB on the deck overlooking the river. We'll be BACK!!! ❤❤❤

Galice Resort is a great place for all ages. I've been going here since I was a child and always had a great time. Come check it out and support our awesome resort.

Always great, helpful staff. We stop here either on our way down river (while rafting) for lunch or on our way home every summer. If it's busy you can expect a little wait but they work fast to keep everything and everyone moving.

It's outdoor dining along the river is great. They have live music on saturday night on the patio. Food is yummy. Great staff too.
