Peter's Hardware Center

Big fan of this little shop!!! They have all the standards you might need and such a great selection of hardware and tools. Their key copying service is the cheapest in town and it's so very quick and easy. It's done by an associate and not one of those key machines that charge over five bucks for a single key.. so no finicky self-service machines to mess with. Went in today and found the exact size of drywall anchor I needed and the screws to fit so easily, as everything is exceptionally organized. Clean store, friendly faces. Of course the larger home improvement stores have a larger selection, but I always always always stop here first and 9 times out of 10, they have exactly what I need... and then some! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They are amazing! They go the extra mile for every one of their customers. I've gone into the big box stores so many times and not been able to find what I needed. And then when I do find an employee who's willing to help me, they seem miserable to do so. Here, everyone is amazing and super eager to help you find your way. I've never been disappointed. The prices are amazing and the service is out of this world. I highly recommend it to anyone as they have so many options even though their store is smaller than a ginormous home improvement corporation. AND they give you free popcorn! You really can't beat that.

Had a FANTASTIC experience at Peter's because Russell and Tim both personally helped me and were patient and knowledgeable as they resolved my situation. I highly recommend Peter's Hardware for excellent Customer Service (BTW... went to all the "Big Guys" first and they couldn't help me, but Peter's was able to solve my car key problem at a fraction of the price!!!). I love going in this store. Theresa and Jerri always make me feel welcome, are very knowledgeable about the products, and always willing to help. I feel like family when I go there. They have a wide variety of supplies in this little corner store, it looks smaller than it is! I would spend much more money in there, though, if they had more plants and plant accessories. Not complaining! I just love plants.

This is a wonderful store that is my first choice over Amazon or WalMart because I try to support local small businesses. This past Sunday I was helped by a very courteous, polite young man named Quinton. He helped me find the food grade cutting board oil I needed. In this day and age it is rare to find outstanding customer service. But every time I go into this Peter’s Hardware in Stuart I receive excellent service. Great little store close to the Stuart Post Office with a surprising amount of variety inside. Fun greeting card selection too!

I cannot express how greatful I am for this store. There is a man named Ed who offered to remedy a rough situation for me with an automotive lock out. I was absolutely traumatized by a locksmith destroying my car. Key me and 24/7 lock and key Fort Pierce need to be reported to the better business bureau. I needed an extra key after I was absolutely gouged by the locksmith. Ed set me up with what I need at an affordable price and did not just make me a key for the highest price. If I need a special key as we talked about I can order it with him no big deal. Ed made the spare key and I grabbed the magnetic holder for my car. I am so excited. I am so happy with my experience. I am telling everyone there is a reputable place in town. Mom and Pop stores are the backbone of America. I am almost crying writing this. I will NEVER have a lockout again now. Thank you Ed, Thank you Peter's Hardware!. You can't make this up!!. 10/10 I'm going back to Peter's

Fast friendly service. I had keys made and easy worked perfectly. That's a plus. Also they had the other items I was looking for . I will definitely go here again .

I previously rated this a one star. However, I did receive a call from the sales associate whom updated me on my requests. This is a home town store and I appreciated the contact yesterday.
