Dollar General

I had the occasion to stop in Dollar General with a friend of mine. After picking up a few needed items, we were browsing the isles. An employee, Jayla, asked us if she could be of assistance in finding an item, and then went so far as to assist with recommendations in the make-up isle since we were not familiar with the brands. We were both impressed with Jayla's interaction with not only us, but with other customers during our visit to Dollar General. Kudos to this employee and her professionalism!

I was a part of the Wimberley LGBT Pride float for the 4th of July. We ended up not being able to hand out popsicles, and I needed a last minute back up. I was waiting outside for the store to open, and I was just casually telling the clerk outside why I was waiting to get in. Her eyes lit up and she told me she had just the thing. She helped me pick up rainbow swirly lollipops and rang me up before the store was even open. It was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Very sweet person at the register doing a great job! 😁 as I'm standing in line watching rude customers come across as they pay for the items. It's so sad how people have become these days rude ,rude,rude! I pray for you 🙏 having to deal with grown adults who act childish.

We dine here every time we go to Winberly. It helps to have reservations and a brother in law that knows the staff. They are very busy at lunch on weekends or hoilidays . Good folks and quality food.

I forget the lady's name but I'm hoping that whoever the store manager for this Dollar General location will see this post and relay my compliments on her willingness to work with me as well as my gratitude to the lady (my guess: age 37-42 years old, long hair, Thursday Sept 26th, about 3pm) that was working the register. I had an emergency and needed to grab 38 snack size chips for group of students and my phone was giving me trouble letting me pay for the chips. Wouldn't connect with the card reader.I didn't have my actual cards with me and don't really carry cash but I gave her my cell phone and DL card in exchange for the chips so I could deliver them to the kids and come back ASAP and pay, which I did within 30 mins. I Know it's not a normal occurence/arrangement but it all worked out well and so I'm giving her a shoutout and hopes she receives acknowledgements.

I love shopping here. I know everyone who works there, they are friendly and are always willing to help you find what you need. We've been living here for five years and that's how long I've been shopping there.

I like this store, it is convenient.
It's under different management, and you can tell. You can now walk down every isle and it is cleaner.

They work for a long time despite being cheap and getting new pencils or colored pencils is easy and affordable
