Harbor Freight Tools

Ok I get it...... it's harbor freight,..... it used to be the butt off most tool jokes but I'm not laughing at them anymore. The workers are super helpful, one guy named Mike was VERY helpful. You can't beat the prices anywhere and they keep adding more cool stuff to their inventory. Also their hand tools are all now guaranteed for life. Let's face it guys there is no more craftsmen. We need to find another place. We all know wandering the endless aisles of home depot searching for something isn't going to work forever. Try asking a home depot employee literally anything, they have no idea. At least here it's just tools and tool related stuff. Let's just see if the products last longer than they did before. So far so good with the things I bought.

I love love love coming here! It's kinda of what heaven looks like on the outside of pearly gates. You'll buy stuff you don't need and go home to break what it fixes. Great deals and friendly people.
Went back for some more tools, I've never had to warranty anything here, tools last.

Came to the harbor to go fishing, but was I way off! By like 30 miles!

I was in a Jam, broke a Pittsburgh wrench & they swapped it out no questions Asked! Also had to buy some additional tools while I was there.

Every time I go here, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I enjoy shopping for tools among other things. Staff is always helpful. And, it's conveniently located and not far from the highway ( I-355 ). I hope this information helps someone.

Staff is always helpful and they seem to always have most items in stock. Store its self is great they have lots of good tools and great prices. Tools might not be what you want if you are in a trade and use them every day but are great for home owners who need replacement tools or specialty tools they might not normally get due to price.

I don't shop here much... I own very few items from here... but the people at the store are great!

Typical Harbor Freight experience, their store was clean and stocked well. The employees were competent and worked well. My go to for lots of odds and ends.

I wish I could remember the names of the two gentleman that helped me out, because they deserve to be called out for their customer service and expertise. I recently purchased a used car that needs a little bit of loving on the bodywork (thanks for all the salt, IDOT). I will be doing the repairs myself, so I need to purchase a few things, mostly a welder, paint gun and air compressor. One of the staff helped me with EVERYTHING I would need to know about the paint gun and what compressor would be required for it. He actually listened to my needs and my desire to stay within a budget. His solution is going to run me under $200, which is more than reasonable for me, and the options he suggested are going to exceed my performance needs.

I was still wandering around the store and found myself at the welding section. I know how to weld and am quite competent at it, but I don't know the first thing about purchasing a machine, other than buying a big-name brand such as Miller, which again, isn't an option for me. So he asked me what my needs would be: clean welds, a variety of materials such as steel and aluminum, etc. I'm pretty sure that I want a TIG machine for it, so I think that's the way I want to lean. There's a relatively inexpensive machine there, which is great for my budget, but he was not convinced (I think he was under the impression that I planned on doing like, production levels of work, rather than using it a few hours on the weekends). He suggested a more expensive model, which I agreed with except for the budget constraints. He told me that if I bought the inexpensive unit, I should get the two year service plan, not because he thought the machine would fail, but because if I decide that it just simply will not meet my needs, I can return it and just pay the difference on the more expensive model.

10 out of 10, would absolutely recommend this location!

Recently I had to warranty a ratchet that broke on me(head stop ratcheting)and they warranties it no questions asked.I really do love that about them and will continue to shop with them for years to come.

I'm not too sure on companies ordering/stocking
I went in for a cheap buffer for my truck. The selection was adequate, but riddle me this...
Why carry two buffers that have 7" foam disks and the only selection that is stocked is 3" 6" 8"...
And didn't carry the hook and loop replacement to make it a 6".... Rant over I love this place in a pinch just wish they think a little bit... Cause I'm not a good thunker and I stared at that self for about 30mins before I figured that nothing would work!!
