Jake's may be small but don't be fooled he has a good selection and great prices. Mike, the owner always has a display of 5.99 wines or two for $9.99 or a case for $49.99 pretty good deal and pretty good wines

Great deals! The wines offered on their $50 case deal are always changing and a good variety so I get to try all different types of wines at a great price, exactly what I am looking for. Also plenty of regular stock if I want something specific.

This is a local business owned by father and son for years. Both Jake and David are so kind and thoughtfull to their customers and community. Jake goes to the point of pointing out less expensive items that taste better, and David will order any items you request. They have a wonderful wine selection and try new options for $10 for 3 bottles. Friendly quick service and always a smile! Highly recomnend shopping here!

Its a personable place to shop. Been shopping with Jake and his son since I moved to Auburn 21 yrs ago. I'm reminded of a small liquor store right off Canal St on Bienville St in New Orleans where I'm from, in the French Quarter. The name escapes me. Just like them they're efficient, quaint, cute. Dave at Jake's Liquors is the best in the business. If you are looking for an expert in wine and liquors he is the Man. Dave's worldly experience and attention to detail is note worthy. He has a very firm grasp on understanding the delicate balance between bourbon and whiskey and his education in the wine industry makes him an authority in pairing your favorite vintage. Dave can also find 99 percent of what you are looking for at an extremely fair price and often below what you would find at other discount stores. I highly recommend you use Jake's Discount Liquor Store other than box stores because having this kind of expertise is getting rarer in this overly commercial world.
