Nice place to explore nature. The trail is an old railroad. There is parking available at either end of the trail.

Only thing to make it better is to identify what old brick and stone buildings used to be

The trail end to end is about 0.8 miles. Easy walking path which follows a beautiful river. Abandoned structures are dotted along the trail and is being seamlessly integrated by nature with stunning results.

Beautiful local trail that goes from one point to another. Parking at both ends and a small playground on one side. The trail is not paved, but is smooth with a fairly even grade. There are some great old structures in the area including an old dam, which my kids refer to as "the waterfall." There are a few bridges that also give great views of the creek below.

Very peaceful, clean and well marked 0.8 mile walking path. Came for a morning stroll and pleasantly surprised with how nice it was and scenic with streams, waterfalls and dams. It is 0.8 mile one-way and you turn around and come back.

The wide gravel path is well shaded by trees, and the abandoned buildings are pretty neat.

Nice gravel trailway with some views of water and several smaller pathways off the main trail to explore

It's about a mile long and mostly flat dirt path of the former Skaneateles railway. Remaining are the railway bridges and spurs surrounded by the overgrowing of nature.

Well maintained, wide enough for foot traffic either way. Nice for easy bike ride with kids. Neat access point to Skaneateles Brewery and Last Shot Distillery

There’s a magic pipe hidden in the forest here that has been dripping clean drinking water for 10+ years since I first found it. The water is perfectly clear after passing through the moss. Maybe we could gift it to California. Or keep the secret to ourselves…
Would you drink from the magic moss pipe?

A hidden gem honestly. Short, easy and flat with plenty of short little "off trails". There's small waterfalls, an old dam, abandoned buildings, two short bridges, graffiti, and plenty of photo opportunities. Tons of history here and a great spot for photos! Parking is limited though but it's free!

Absolutely love this trail! On Skaneateles creek. The trail follows along the creek. It is level and shaded. You can hear the sound of the water the entire distance of the 1.5 mile trail. There is even a waterfall with a nearby bench to view it. There are also other benches along the main trail. Many people walk their dogs here. Small playground and right near the creek there is a picnic table and permanent grill. No bathrooms though.
