Aldie Country Store

I was riding with my boyfriend on his Harley down 50 W and this amazing smell hit our faces and we just had to pull over and try it out. Let me tell you, if you thought it smelled amazing, wait till you taste it! You will NOT be disappointed! It was AMAZING. We will definitely be going back for more!!!!

Food tastes good. Dont go there for ambiance. Its a general rural store. If you love barbecue, try the new taste. See how it melts in mouth.

Stopped by yesterday after having smelled the awesome aroma for years as I drive by. The owner is quite the salesman, and was very entertaining (almost worth the price of the ribs alone). I bought a rack of ribs to go. They were not the most "fall off the bone" ribs ever, but the taste was good and there was plenty of meat for several people to enjoy. I would be willing to try more if/when I stop in again.

I came here to see what other people thought of their experience and was a little shocked to not see more positive comments. It is not a restaurant, but a bbq stop on the side of the road; keep that in mind and you will be quite pleased!

The lack of ambiance doesn't matter, but the ribs were just ok. The prices were way too much for average bbq. The sides were terrible. On the plus side, the aroma is awesome coming from the roadside smoker.

Had their ribs last summer - for the first and last time. Couldn't handle the dirty interior of the store so we sat out front at the picnic table. Don't know if it was the ribs or not, but I was sick as a dog afterwards.

Total scam.

I should have been warned by the store owner who wouldn't stop yapping the minute I stepped into the store. Like a guy trying to sell a condo timesharing place.

The sample he gave me was nothing like the ribs I actually received. Not to mention $42 for two spare rib meals after I sat down. No wonder he wasn't too eager to have me pay upfront. Very clever.

Unless you like fat, gristle, and taste of lighter fluid, I would say try one of the bbq truck stands at the Rt. 15 rotary.

I truly thought this hole in the wall would be that great find. I was wrong. I wish I had seen the TridAdvisor reviews. The reviews will resonate my sentiments. There's something else going on there. Certainly not BBQ.

Horrible! Lucky it has closed down.
