Lidl

I’ll say this first and and foremost. Lidl is an international German discount store, so this store will have qualities that can be traced back to their roots, such as bringing your own bags, placing your own Groceries in your own bag, inexpensive items. There’s nothing wrong with self sufficiency. I for one was actually very ecstatic to shop at this store once it opened and grab all the inexpensive items I could find. Honestly I’m not sure how you can hate on a discounted grocery store in the middle of a highly populated city with new apartments being built every year. Idk, that’s just my opinion. But keep up the great work employees of Lidl.

A nice and clean supermarket with low prices for great food. A breath of fresh air to have a place like this in my part of Southeast DC.

The neighborhood is not the greatest but if your in the Congress Heights Southeast and find great prices and a variety of brands please stop by Lindl

Never shopped there before, received a gift card for Lidl. I was very surprised & impressed. They had everything I was looking for & some extras. I will be shopping there in the future.

I was sad to hear in the store yesterday that corporate is considering closing due to theft and retail shrink. All areas of the city deserve diverse and healthy shopping options like this. The theft is a DC problem we need to fix at the government level to keep retailers and businesses in the area. Great location. My favorite store. At first it was a little hectic and the employees were learning as it was getting started, but now it’s awesome and everyone is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Prices are great. The store is clean as a whistle. I get all my staples here.

I love lidle...the price on their product is great for the most part... I shop at 3 other stores but I make it my top priority to go to lidle to get most of my items.

I like it a lot, they have reasonable prices for what you get from them everything is like a little bulk of what you need

Small store in a convenient location. They don't carry lots of brands, but what they have is good

Great store...so glad I don't have to depend upon the safeway across the street anymore.

Reasonable prices and it reminds me of a little Walmart only a little cheaper

I love this new store!!! Great produce, some friendly employees (at least my cashier) only issue was......no riders outside. Your carts will disappear lol. People have to get home with their groceries, and we all don't drive or have friends and family to give us rides. I love this store has the bakery right by the front door, it smells so awesome when you walk in!!!!! Please give us riders??????!!!!!!!

The prices will fool you. It's the area not the store. Wait until the shopping carts start going missing. SMH

So far I had a good experience the store employees are friendly and helpful. The only complaint it's very very Cold in there. I know heat may make you sleepy. But it feels like Air Conditioner in December. Uncomfortable too shop But I will give 5 stars.hospitality is Great.

I love the Aldi's and Trader Joe's vibe. The sales every week are awesome. The store is very clean and well stocked. I love the variety of products, USA and International as well! I especially love the bakery at the entrance! Please patronize this store and fully appreciate it!!!

The store has a cop car outside in the parking lot and officer at the entrance. The store was clean and being stocked up. I love there sourdough bread, but surprised at the fluency plastic bags they had. Happy to see all of the Germany Christmas cookies and cake's.

Great products, fresh produce clean environment. An excellent shopping experience. At this point, I expect nothing less. Keep up the good work!!
