I came here with the family for prime locally sourced meats. This was the right place. We were greeted at the door by two adorable cocker spaniels. The staff inside were friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. The selection of meats was second to none. They were shrink wrapped and well marked with pricing and weight and the type.
The store was clean, well lite, and easy to navigate. The prices were surprisingly low. I could not have been more impressed by my visit.

What a find! Small shop in the heart of the Finger Lakes but worth the trip. Very good prices on locally sourced meats, but it's the quality that will keep you coming back. Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth strip steak was one of the best I've ever had. I'm excited to be able to shop local AND get a great deal on superior food. It's a win-win-win.

Home run, quality and pricing cannot be beat. All meat is raised locally and is absolutely top notch, folks travel from far and wide to get Timberline quality not to mention the staff which could not be any friendlier!

We just picked up our third hind quarter since the pandemic started. Excellent service and value. We are getting better at ordering exactly what we like and are not disappointed. Highly recommend this local business. Tastes great !

Amazing place. Nice small little place to shop with lots of options. Prices are really good and you know you're getting quality. Stopped in for the first time today and got a few meats. Cooked up some fresh burgers and they were really amazing. I know we're I'll be getting most of my meats now.

We were there on 6/4/22 !! What a great store. The Gentleman behind the counter was just awesome !! Prices are great and the quality of the meat is outstanding !! If they don't have it, you don't need it !!! If you are in the area, give Timberland a try.

picked up some burgers, delmonicos, and smoked pork chops. steaks had great flavor and very tender. burgers and pork chops great as well, highly recommend!

If you aren't buying your sausage here, you are missing out! Burgers, steaks, etc all great at a more than fair price.

Used to be Shirks meat now New owner/new name.... storefront is open to buy meat again! Things have been improving and getting business up and running again

Stay clear, shady business. We were originally purchasing and splitting a half a cow with a friend who was going to be picking up however he could not accommodate our order since was I guess it was to basic as we wanted mostly ground but talked us into a half cow and we agreed purchasing a larger freezer since it was much more than anticipated. Once it was finally done he lets us know it’s ready for pick up. That’s when we find out the location of where he was. We were like OK little bit further than we thought we have to figure something out here then he suggest that he can meet us in East Rochester. We thought wow that’s awesome so appreciative of that. Give several dates when we could come out. Took a while for one to work for him we get it set we have to location he doesn’t have one so we suggested the only one we knew of, two days later, he tells us he can’t travel an hour to us, and he sold the meat to someone else who is willing to pick up. He never once contacted us to let us know ahead of time to see if we’d be willing to drive the full 2+ hours to get there, which we would have done since we were already trying to figure it out in the first place. Sent us a text message just telling us no hard feelings will never ever do business with them again!
