Wick's is awesome! I rolled in with my old trusty bike. (To be clear, I am not a marathoner, I'm lucky to ride a couple miles a week.) I asked if they could help me get the bike in shape to pull a garden cart. Oh, by the way, can you also help me get a garden cart. Oh and get it hooked up so that I can just use the bike sometimes. LoL.
I am telling you, no one batted an eye. They said no problem and came up with this beauty. Easy to pull heavy loads. Uphill. Both ways. That bike hasn't been so easy to pedal let alone pull in YEARS! To top it off, the price was great. Personal service, top notch care.

We came here to get new bikes for me and both of my kids and they were so wonderful and kind. We were able to take the bikes for a test ride to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They have a good variety of new and used bikes in good condition. They offer tune ups and repairs as well. We will definitely be be coming back here for all of our bicycle needs. So much more knowledgeable and caring than a big box store!

This bicycle shop is absolutely the BEST I have ever seen and been to§ The variety and quality of bikes is awesome. Whether you like mountain bikes, vintage bikes, hybrid bikes or classic cruisers - you will find it here! Matt does an awesome job servig bikes - just look at the picture what he did with my antique French bicycle from the 1940's! When I got it I wasn't able to ride on it - then Matt came in and made it look like new, yet keeping the original paint, leather seat & accessories. Now if I want to feel like I am in an old 40's movie I can tae a ride on it. When I went into their shop I couldn't but buy this beautiful California style cruiser - now it doesn't have to be sunny outside to be able to enjoy a nice bike ride and feel happy and free:). In short - don't waste your time - go check out Wick's bike shop and you will not regret it. Cool fact: Matt's charming wife handpainted their shop and is also an artist!

Great shop! Even better family! Very friendly, patient and helpful as our daughter picked out her first "big kid" bike. Everything you hope for from a local, family owned business.

Needed a place to service a few of my Treks for upcoming bike trip, called around to get basic tune-up rates around the area and all that they included. Most were outrageous, especially the direct trek stores!
Called Wicks, and their fixed price was all inclusive for the most part, so that very day tossed them in the bed of my truck and headed down to Wicks. Got into town and loved that small town feeling. Opened the door and that very first bike shop smell I remember as spending so much of my parents' time and money as a kid at our local bike shop as a kid! Was greeted by a very friendly and informative lady, told her bikes I had, and what they needed she wrote all down and created tags while we chatted and said the owner/tech would call when they were done. I looked around and had a great selection of new and used bikes a few, which I had even owned 30 years earlier in life, which is memories you can't replace. Got a call a few days later. The bikes were done, and it was time to pick them up. Prices were very fair for services received!
Got to meet the owner in person, great guy. we had friends in common and about the same age, so we had shared a lot of background with bikes as kids, which is nice he gets to do his passion for a living and does it well with bikes! I will be back and am now a lifetime customer at Wicks!!!

We bought a bike from Wick’s for our son’s 10th birthday and it is AWESOME!! He is thrilled with it and rides it every day. Thank you Matt for your master craftsmanship!

Great local business! They were super friendly and helpful when trying to pick out a bike. They also let you test ride any bike before purchase which is super handy. I'm also pretty sure they give a year of free maintenance on any bike you purchase from them. Over all I was very satisfied with their business and would gladly go to them again for any of by bicycle needs.

I have had the pleasure of buying a bike from both matt and Christine they provide excellent customer service and high quality bikes they also offer bike repair this is a perfect example of a small town buisness doing what you love and I am glad they chose Grant park as there home!

Visiting the area and needed tire repair tools, tubes and a pump. Wick’s was very helpful and had what I needed. Unusual in a small town like this.
