Simply AC

I have used this shop for years because my wife likes the product. We have decided not to use Amanda anymore because of our recent experience with improper packaging and poor customer service. My order arrived and my wife immediately noticed something leaking. It leaked all over our mailbox. I opened the package and the entire parcel was saturated with bubble bath. The packaging for the bath bombs was wet and damaged. The bubble bath container was 1/3 empty. It made a huge mess that I had to clean, ruined the surprise for my wife, damaged the packaging, and left me with a partially empty bubble bath bottle and 4 bath bombs with damaged packaging. Amanda said she would ship a replacement order and after following up twice over the course of a month we gave up because she was non responsive.

I live in WA State. I received a product from this seller as a Christmas gift from my daughter, who lives in NYC. The package of bath bombs arrived in a white box with a gold tie ribbon bunched up and off to the side of the white box. The ribbon should have been tied around the box, this being a gift. There was also a blank gift card inside the shipping box, with a blank envelope.

My daughter never sends a gift without a message included.

When I contacted the seller, Amanda, she made up a ridiculous story. She claimed that I, the recipient, was also the purchaser, and that I had specifically ordered the gift card be sent to me blank because I requested it so. This was a lie. I never ordered this product; it was a Christmas gift from my daughter. She clearly would have that information in her records.

Amanda wrote: "The order itself was both placed by (me, the gift recipent) and shipped to (me, the gift recipient) so I do not have record of who sent the order because of the way they checked out. The buyer selected “include blank gift note” at checkout which was why a blank gift note was included, usually when they would like to write out themselves a longer gift message than what is allowed in the gift message box."

Riiiiight. Amanda dropped the ball. I strongly urge caution with entrusting products meant as gifts sent by this seller.

UPDATE: In response to my review, Amanda states that she took screenshots of the order and sent them to me via Gmail when I initially complained to her directly.

I did in fact receive her screen shots, but they showed me as the recipient, NOT the sender as she states in her reply to my review, so she is in fact being deceitful. It is simply ludicrous to believe that I placed this order to myself; my daughter alerted me to expect the package as a Christmas gift.

I do not want additional products from this seller. The gift message that would have accompanied this gift is far more valuable.

I placed an order to Simply AC through Etsy and a separate order directly to the shop. I received the order from the shop but not the order placed through Etsy. My credit card was charged for both.
Etsy instructed me to contact Simply AC.
I did.
I was told by the owner, Amanda, that both were shipped to my house.
When I told her I only received one order she called me a liar. Said she had documentation that it had been delivered and that she did not owe me anything.
Then she blocked me from messenger.
I am trying to get this settled but she will not cooperate.
I do not recommend ordering from this business!
I will turn this over to my credit card company!

Do not order from this company! I have had the worst experience with Simply AC Boutique! They are a total scam. After spending over $300, they sent me 5% of my products and claimed I received all of it. After waiting two months, I finally contacted them and they pretended like they didn’t know what I was talking about. Save yourself the stress and go to Etsy to order bath products. The few things I did receive were awful.
