The Wine Cellar Red Bank

I've been shopping here ever since I moved back in 2017. Always a great experience. Very helpful staff with selecting a wine that will pair well with what I will be eating within my budget. Pricing is very reasonable for a good bottle of wine. It's my go to wine store in Red Bank!

I have been shopping in this store for many years. The staff has always been so helpful and nice but with the addition now of Alex it is over the top customized service. Alex remembers the wines we like and makes sure we know when it arrived in the store. He knows so much about wine and educates the customers and is always so helpful in recommending a wine that never fails we love!! If you want good wine at a great price but treated like you are always buying 100+++ bottles go to this lovely local shop and hope Alex is working but you are in good hands with the others too. My husband and I had a great time Wine shopping! Alex gave us a fantastic tour of Italy and France, couldn’t have been more helpful or knowledgeable. We bought two cases and look forward to enjoying them all!

This is the best wine store I have ever encountered. The staff goes above and beyond to meet my needs, and the wines are great. They run specials seemingly every week, which makes it even more worth it to go there. Anyone looking for a great wine experience should frequent this place. Five stars.

Ran in to see the store that I regularly order wine from. First time in store and Alex was super helpful. I explained I wanted to see the wine on sale I had seen in my email and he helped me with my 6 bottles based on my preferences. Great shopping experience. Helpful person, organized store.

Celine is an awesome resource for all things wine. We are long-time customers and she knows our preferences, and will even set aside wines that she knows we like, or thinks we will like base on her personal knowledge of us. It's a little gem in Red Bank. Prices of wine average about $8.50 per bottle and are often reserve stock. When I have guests over, they always ask where I get my wine from and are shocked when I tell them how much I paid for such a quality wine. We rarely buy from anywhere else unless it's an absolute emergency. LOVE this place!!!

Very positive experience. Alex and Tayler were eager and helpful to offer suggestions (a great one by the way! Love it!). The store was open and inviting. The staff were friendly and honest; they could have made suggestions to earn more money, but kept it authentic instead. Bravo, you've found some repeat business. Thank you!!

I have been going to the wine cellar for the past 3 1/2 months trying to get this 1 wine. Its always sold out. I keep leaving my name with the manager, i left my business card with her several times also. Everytime ive went back she tells me its sold out again. Obviously she never took the time to call me and never left my info for anyone else to call me. But today i spoke with alex, and was very helpful on the phone. He told me another shipment was coming in. Alex took the time to go look around in inventory and he found 5 cases fir me and called me back and held them for me. Moral of the story, deal with Alex he gets the 5 stars for the help.

We were in yesterday and the gentleman that helped us (wish I had gotten his name) was wonderful. He engaged us about wine and seemed to know exactly what the store had. I just hope he got finally got his pad thai!

Most wines in the store cannot be found anywhere else in NJ. Helpful staff, and there's always some promotion going on so it pays to ask. Also... 10 check-ins gets you a free bottle of their Cellar Select wine w/purchase.

I don't know much about wine, but the staff of the Wine Cellar is both helpful & non-judgmental, never making me feel like I'm too wine-dumb to be there. In an age when most wine-lovers are pretentious as hell, that goes a long way.

All the wines in the middle aisle of the store are $14.95, & the second bottle is (usually? always? sometimes?) 50% off; everything around the periphery is more expensive. The half a dozen or so wines I've tried from here have all been really excellent, & the staff is always friendly & ready to answer questions. They'll even take orders to deliver your wine to BYOB restaurants in the immediate area.

Pick up a bottle or two on a Friday, then head to the Cheese Cave across the street for all-you-can-eat $5 cheese tastings!

Wow customer experience. I know nothing about wine. I picked something eh and Alex swapped it for something he suggested. It was great and so was he. Will likely become a regular.

They have a great selection and the people are always really nice and helpful. I don't know much about wine, but I know good service and I will keep going back.
