I would like to compliment the brunette pharmacist in his late twenties/early thirties.

A few months ago I was placed on this new medication approved by the FDA in June. It addresses my COVID long hauler issues.

Every month I have to go up on dosage. The injectable medication is in short supply around the country. This is the only Walgreens I’ve found in the Denver west metro that cares about my health by tracking down this medication these last three months. My local Walgreens in Evergreen, CO never bothered tracking it down. They told me to ask my doctor for an alternative. It was just proved by the FDA. There are no alternatives rights now.

So what if they have to close the drive thru lane or the inside store aisle. So what if they too busy to answer their phones. It’s not their responsibility to answer questions that should be directed to your physician. They’re doing the best they can in a thankless chaotic retail environment under a clearly unsupportive corporate owner.

Be a little empathetic. Try meditative techniques to walk in another’s shoes.

I've always had fast, friendly encounters with the pharmacy staff at this location.

My recent experience at this Walgreens was decent but not exceptional. The store was well-organized, and the staff was courteous. However, I found some of their prices to be higher than other local pharmacies, and the selection was somewhat limited. Additionally, there was a bit of a wait at the pharmacy counter. On the positive side, they had a good selection of over-the-counter medications and toiletries. It's a convenient option for quick shopping, but for better deals and a broader range of products, I might explore other options.

Pharmacy closed inside. Drive thru closed early on Friday 10/22/2021. Unable to pick up Rx I really needed and they are closed Saturday and Sunday. Had a miserable weekend because of this. Now it's Monday morning and Rx still not ready!!!

Wait over three hours on the phone or over an hour in line, do yourself a favor and switch pharmacies. Feel bad for whoever is left as a current employee.

Updating to 3 stars on 12/20/22, they have gotten some of their things in order but still need a full staff.

Don't assume the hours for Walgreens stores are the same as the pharmacy or what you see when you do an internet search. Learned the hard way that the pharmacy doesn't open until later on the weekends and had a crucial Rx to get. Also, there does not appear to be any 24-hour Walgreen stores on the west side of town anymore. The one on 44th and Wads is no longer a 24 hour. Only 24 hour options are way south or way north now. All else is good with this particular store but when you're after an anti-nausea med at 5am these details matter. Hope it helps someone else.

Had what I was looking for.. Cashier was very nice..

I understand it is the holidays and there are a lot of photos to be processed, however I had an encounter with the manager who was very rude. I had a simple request to print one 5x7 photo (last minute), the manager did not go the extra mile to complete this order and instead told me to wait an extra 30 min for another employee to return.

I operate a business and understand the importance of quality customer service. This was rude and inconsiderate towards how to take care of customers.

I tested positive for covid last night and came to pick up meds. I called the pharmacy to make sure the meds were ready but no one picked up the phone after I sat on hold for 5 minutes. I called the main store to tell them I have covid and to make sure the drive thru pharmacy window was open and they told me no the drive thru wasnt open because they were understaffed and no they couldnt bring the meds out to me because they werent sure it was even legal and they were understaffed. When I arrived 10 minutes later and walked into the store there were two staff at the photo counter chatting, and zero customers in the store. I walked all the way to the back where the pharmacist was sitting in a chair three feet from the drive through window. I told him I had covid and tried to use hand sanitizer before using the credit card reader, but the hand sanitizer was empty. The card reader wouldn't take my hsa card so I paid with my regular credit card. On my way out the two staff behind the photo counter were still standing there chatting and laughing. The drive thru at the walgreens in Golden was also closed, so I'd had my prescriptions transferred to this one to avoid going in the store. I think I'm completely done with walgeeens. They did at least have my prescriptions ready.
