Go there to shop for excellent cuts of meat, poultry and fish. Large selection of sausages, bacon and other smoked items. Gourmet dry good and seasoning, breads, produce, wild game, cheese and seafood. They also have great smoked ribs and sandwiches made to order. Plan some time to browse around as there is so much to choose from in the store. Staff is friendly and service is quick, please note however, they get pretty busy as the weekend approaches. So, time your trip according to the day and time of day. Go try something new or get some great food for an enjoyable meal. Been going here for over 40 years and have not been disappointed ever.

I recently visited Edward’s Meat Market in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! 🎉 From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of fresh meats 🍖 and the sight of a well-organized, clean store. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations that were spot on.

The selection of meats is impressive, with everything from high-quality beef 🥩 to exotic selections that aren't easily found elsewhere. I appreciated the variety of cuts available, and everything looked incredibly fresh. I tried their house-made sausages 🌭 based on the staff's suggestion, and they were delicious - perfectly seasoned and full of flavor.

What really sets Edward’s apart is their commitment to quality and customer service. The staff took their time to explain the different cuts of meat, offered cooking tips 👩‍🍳, and even gave me a recipe card 📝 for a dish I was planning. It’s this kind of personal touch that makes a huge difference.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get 💰. I also noticed they have a selection of local products like cheeses 🧀 and condiments, which is a great touch.

I won't go anywhere else if I have a choice, highly recommend the butchers, great customer service, great quality meat and great prices, if you need thick cut bacon, here's your last stop, this is real thick cut bacon, what you want for blts when bacon is the centerpiece 💪🏽

Best butcher here and almost anywhere. We stop for 3 inch custom cut porterhouse steaks every trip to Basalt to fly fish. Jerky, cowboy burgers, sandwiches to amazing cuts of meat. You can’t help but to growl walking the aisles.

Favorite food/grocery/butcher store in ALL of Colorado. Its stunning the amount of items they pack into the space. I still have yet to find a center cut filet at any steakhouse that beats the ones I buy here and grill at home. A must try store! Also- everyone is so friendly and eager to help unlike many stores these days where employees seem put off by needing to assist their customers. Check it out!

The meat selection here is awesome! The prices are also reasonable! We were able to find Tomahawk steaks, Porterhouse and also Oxtail! Just to name a few things. We will DEFINITELY be back SOON!

My first time visiting & OMG, walked in & the place smells amazing! The smoky aroma of meat gets your taste buds watering. Excellent selection of meats, some exotics, seafood, their brand of sauces, seasonings, & unique items as well. I suggest a visit if your in the neighborhood.

I have been shopping for all my meat here for 20+ years. This is a busy place, but they are always efficient, friendly and accommodating. Since I live 30 min away, I buy in bulk and they always cut, wrap and package to accommodate any special requests. Not to mention that this is a small family owned business, which I love to support. Can't recommend Edward's Meats enough!

I come here every year after a successful hunt for all of my pork fat and seasonings. The staff is super helpful and friendly and always answer my questions and help me get exactly what I am looking for. Great stock of fats, seasonings, wood chips, etc. If youre a hunter looking for a good butcher to get the things you need for processing your game at home go here!

UPDATE: 092422...EDWARD'S IS AS GREAT AS EVER! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wow! I didn't know it was going to be like this. They have an amazing assortment of meats of many varieties and many prepared meats into different forms and formats! This is definitely a trip well worth it. Anyone from Northern Colorado should head down to Wheatridge and visit Edwards.

Bought a smoked turkey to serve for thanksgiving. Turned out great, several people told me it was the best turkey ever. Nice compliment, except I usually make the turkey from scratch for these folks. Apparently my turkey is not as good as the smoked turkey at Edward Meats!

I am from New Jersey, so I was looking for a nearby place to find game meat (specifically bison jerky) to mail back home. Two people online referred this place to me so I had to give it a try.
I have never been in a butcher shop before so I was nervous going in. The staff immediately pointed me to the right direction, gave me information on what has to and doesn’t have to be refrigerated, and so on. They were so helpful, funny, and answered all of my questions. I got some extra stuff for myself and it was honestly the best beef jerky I’ve ever had before. I wish I had gotten more! Everything was super reasonably priced too, so I will absolutely be buying from them online as well!

We were so impressed with the smoked turkey we purchased from Edward's Meats for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was both beautiful and delicious. We will definitely be ordering this again next year!

My parents did business here for years, till they moved to Kremmling in the early 70’s. I have done business here since the late 70’s till the early 90’s when I moved to Kremmling. I discovered a whole new Edward’s Meats after a trip to Holland! My Granddaughter wanted Rabbit and Edward’s Meats had Rabbit! Recently, I wanted to have a roast beef for my son’s birthday. No where could I find what I needed, except at Edward’s. The service the meat cutter Steven offered me is absolutely phenomenal! I am traveling 2 hours to do business here!

I walked in like a deer in headlights and the guy at the front counter (former King Soopers employee but didnt grab his name) welcomed me graciously. Found my way to the back counter and Alisa ( I think thats her name - owners daughter) greeted me and asked if she could help. I asked for her advice and took all of it. I'm currently eating the potato salad and its easily the best potato salad ive ever had in my entire life, and I actually dont like potato salad. Thanks for your help today! I'll probably see you tomorrow to get more of that potato salad!!!!!!!

The selection of fresh and frozen meat is astounding. They happily take custom orders too. Many other interesting and even unusual groceries to browse while you are there and the staff is super friendly.
