Big Y World Class Market

Great selections and extremely clean store. Meat selections are amazing, produce is fresh and well presented, love the self serve pizza bar. Big Y has always offered great customer experience and this store is no different. One quick word of warning though is in order to get the sale prices you need to have a Big Y customer card or ask the cashier to run the stores card, registers will not automatically enter it for you.

This is my go-to place for grocery shopping. The store is huge, everything is organized and you’ll always almost find what you’re looking for. I come here once a week to stock up on groceries.

The prices are decent and there’s wide selection of items from fresh produce, to meats, frozen foods and dairy along with a bakery section. You’ll almost always find the item you’re looking for or you’ll find an alternative but you won’t leave empty handed. The prices are also reasonable.

The staff is friendly and all the necessary precautions are in place regarding this COVID situation. Masks are compulsory and all the shopping carts are sanitized after use. Overall, I always have a good experience in this store with their goods & services.

Norwood BigY is a wonderful place for shopping. The new building is very clean, nice to visit. Wide product range and nice meals ready to go.

They always stock fresh produce,fish and most importantly meats (ribeyes etc.)
This location also has freshly made pizzas, chicken wings, salad buffets (even Fish n Chip plates!).
Excellent service as well, cashiers and customer service always polite and available. Best supermarket compare to Shaws and Stop N Shop.

I love this newly renovated store and I’m so pleased Big Y chose to build it here! I love the fresh produce, the quality baked goods, deli selection, easy-to-navigate store layout, and that there are lots of brand options. My favorite part about Big Y is the employees- June, Phoebe, and Adele have all been so friendly, helpful, and efficient, they’re honestly what keeps me coming back!

Such a lovely grocery store, they have a lot of health foods and a large frozen section. It's also very reasonably priced and they have great specials. I made this my primary grocery store since it opened. They also take pride in keeping it clean it seems. This is specific to the Norwood location. I just don't understand why the employees are so cold and and unfortunately rude.

Very clean. Fresh produce., meats, seafood.etc.. every time! Very good selection on all products. The best in norwood.

What a great market! And Frank at the deli is fabulous. So helpful, entertaining, and pleasant. I am coming here just because of Frank now! (my wife does most of the shopping - I just come for the good stuff like deli meats, bacon, etc.)

The new Big Y Supermarket in S. Norwood is truly an all-around excellent business to do your grocery shopping!

The parking outfront is super-easy, the store layout is clean and brightly lit and the shelves are always properly stocked! The Store Manager Nate and the Asst. Manager Peter do an impeccable job in keeping the Supermarket in true spotless condition at all times! The floors are always clean, the shelves are in perfect order with merchandise and are well maintained! This Big Y Supermarket truly sets the industry "gold-standard" for operating excellence and management!

Big Y Rocks! Loving the new look. No hassle, friendly cashiers. So clean and organized. And impressed with the services they offer. You can shop a slice of pizza and have you preteen eat while shopping 😉. Nice selection of groceries. Oh BTW, I absolutely LOVE the Craven brand, now I choose them over Lay's. Employees are super helpful. Love it here.

Clean, well organized store with a fabulous team working here. Even the staff at checkout are helpful in trying to makes shopping fast and easy and save you money. Frank in deli is very professional, experienced, and hospitable. The deli team really stands out. Great group of people in Norwood.

Beautiful new store! All the employees I came across were SO nice and helpful. The pizza station employee made us a great margarita pizza! Cashier was so sweet! Great deals. My new to go store!

Very clean store, fully stocked, fresh fruits and vegetables. Did not get a chance to go through the whole store, but it did look like they had an array of products. Customer service was great. I needed a carrier as I initially just went for a few items and end up getting a lot more lol. Young man working at this location went and got me one outside soooo nice. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of parking as well. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

Very good chicken to buy when your with Lorenzo. Also has a dollar tree next to it so you can get a cheap soda to go with your chicken. Also a nice hill to go down on your scooter on the way over there.

Brand new and wonderful!!!! Off too a good start with wide showcase entrances opening up too produce . Floral &bakery/hot foods area...The smells are amazing.
Well staffed . Well stocked. Very clean with plenty of room to maneuver. Good prices..
Just a functioning open spacious extra lg pkng lot is a huge welcome change from the other popular store in Norwood.
