I have not heard why the drive through pharmacy is sporadically closed. When it is open there's many cars in line. My point for writing this review is to give Denise the pharmacy worker kudos for her patience & kindness. She deserves a raise!! There is no where on the website to let the manager know about her excellent customer service.

This store is great. The staff are friendly and do their best. But they are SO overwhelmed. Management are penny pinching and not putting enough staff on. The result is longer waits. Hey management. Hire more people and stop being so cheap! Kudos to the workers there who strive to help people despite being under horrible pressure.

I live near this store and do like to come in and pick things up at least once a week. I use the pharmacy , but I am often very frustrated with the service. I was prescribed an antibiotic today and after several hours decided to call the store to see if it was ready. I was put on hold where I remained for 22 minutes. Every now and then someone would pick up the phone and say” hold” and put it right back down to that same song, you know the one. I finally gave up and decided to call the automated service which said it needed to transfer me to a pharmacist, same song , no thanks. Decided to just come down to the store, and was told my antibiotic could be ready in 20 minutes. I walked around, got a text after about 15 minutes but then had to stand in line, where I was the only one waiting for another 10 minutes. No one even acknowledged me. There were people getting shots etc. I realize it’s a busy time of year for that but to not even say “I’ll be with you in a minute” or whatever and then take forever searching around for the med when clearly someone from the pharmacy texted me that it was ready while I was right in store-I don’t know just feel like there’s not very good customer service in the pharmacy here. It’s frustrating that some thing that should take 10 minutes to run in and get ends up wasting two hours of your day.

Signed up online for a “free Covid vaccine” and when I showed up for my appointment, they don’t take my insurance. Which is pretty standard insurance United Health Care. Took them 1/2 hour to be able to tel me that.

I was charged additional money for my prescriptions today. When I asked why I was told because the supply was bumped up to three months. I was advised to call my insurance company to address possible deductible issues. Once I opened the script THERE WERE TWO. My current one and an old script that hasn't been filled or requested in months. When I called I was told I could speak to the pharmacist. That never happened and after a very frustrating call, I was told if I don't get the unneccesary script back to them before they close they won't refund me. That would be great except I work and can't make it back before they close. They won' clear it up with insurance either. Error on their part that I'm paying for, literally.

I’ve been using the pharmacy for years and they’ve always had issues but tonight was my last straw. My son had 2 prescriptions called in, 1 was delayed and 1 was out of stock. Not only were the not helpful they were extremely rude. I got a call that the delayed prescription was ready at 6:30 when I got there at 7 they told me 15 minute wait, then 10 minutes later said that the prescription was lost in cyber space. We finally left with 1 prescription and are on our way to Wareham for the other. Renee (pronounced REE-NEE) was very unfriendly and unhelpful for no reason.

I wish I could give 0 stars just for the pharmacy. There is one pharmacist there that is beyond rude. Argued with me and argued with my doctors office about a prior Auth that she didn't know how to find. Its been a week now and my script hasn't been filled. Dreading calling and talking to that woman again.

Horrific. It doesn't matter whether you're in the drive through or in the store, you are going to wait...a looong time, even when you're first in line!

They get the orders wrong. How it's possible to get it wrong time and again is baffling. Customer service? Hahaha!, non existent. They will refuse to get the order right and blame the insurance. It's like this is their firs time filling a prescription.
They bought Rite Aid to take the customers, and here we are 6 months later, no improvement, if anything, they are worse. Yeah, I don't even want to get started on their horrible safety caps and MISSING information on their labels.
When Rite Aid called, it was to tell you that your Rx was ready and FILLED!!! Walgreens calls you with a reminder, and does not fill the Rx, so that when you go to pick up, you have to wait for them to fill it. Hello McFly, I don't need a reminder when I can see I got one pill left, it negates the point of the automatic refill. I'd like to go in get my automatic refill and get out!

Rite aid was FLAWLESS. Easy in, Easy out. Plenty of Pharmacist on hand, never a wait, and if they had a question on the insurance, they would call the insurance to find out the issue, correct it and get your Rx filled.

If you want to be ignored, go to Walgreens. I'm investigating other alternatives.......Hello Osco, located inside Star market. Yhey used to give a gift certificate as an incentive to sign up with them.
