Piggly Wiggly

We often go here for groceries (live in a neighboring town) to avoid Madison. The staff is always friendly and I called to see if they had a specific item in stock before I made the trip over there. Monday, they checked, and did not. Tuesday, I called again, got the same lady, she didn't think they carried the item, but she went back and looked for me, and they HAD THEM BACK IN STOCK. It made my child's night and I thanked her! We left immediately to purchase! Thanks so much Piggly Wiggly!

This is a great local grocery with a nice deli, meat counter and bakery. Lots of items in stock that you would not expect to find in a small town grocery.

Store has good sales and is large enough to carry what you need. You can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Nice grocery store with decent selections and prices. The weekday staff can be unwelcoming. Store closes at 8 PM and I usually arrive at 6:45 pm. by the time I leave about 30 minutes later, I can hear them openly complaining about people who are entering at that time in a way that seems like they are passively aggressive with the incoming person.

Just me and my 3 year old went today. With a full schedule, this could have been really stressful. But! Filled 2 carts and needed assistance which was offered before I asked! They were also kind enough to let me use the closest restroom so we didn't have to search the store which kept my son in a good mood as I navigated through this task! I'd say it was a perfect adventure! I suppose we will be going there more often:) thanks for all that help today out there!!!:)

They only thing I can hardly ever find at the Sauk city Piggly wiggly is brownberry natural wheat bread but they always have it in Belleville I have a friend that lives there.

Always find what I need and the checkouts are very nice .

“The pig” is what we call it back home. Not much of different from any of the mid size grocery stores. Awesome selection, well stocked and affordable prices. Watch for specials in the weekly flyers to save a little. They also have a deli where you can get a good verity of prepared foods.

Meat nice & fresh. Deli large & has great sale prices weekly. Most of the deli prices run cheaper than most other store's deli's. I buy mostly sale items due to increased costs. Store rotates putting items on sale. Produce okay with some good prices. I'm waiting for them to bring back their brand rye bread. Stopped during the Pandemic. I bought 2 loaves a month.

I saw more plant based items while we visited. The store is clean and well stocked.

Surprisingly beautiful inside with Prairie style signage. Aisles are spacious. Nice selections, well-stocked, clean, and bright.

Everyone who works here is amazing!!! The staff is always so helpful and kind. My 2 year old loves coming to get groceries with me because of how friendly everyone is! Shout out to Karen and all the staff, especially today!

This is a nice small town grocery store.

For a town this size, this grocery store goes above and beyond. The staff is polite and the selection is good. John and his son along with his staff seem to stay on top of keeping the store modern and clean. It is enjoyable to shop here.

Good store always been there for years

Jackie is the kindest most helpful cashier ever! Always willing to help in anyway she can. She helped me find something I couldn't find and went back to check on coffee on sale that was not on the shelf.

I love to go there grocery shopping.
I especially like the butcher's and bakery service.
There produce are choice food, always looking and tasting good. I recommend this place for grocery shopping.

Always have great deals and some of the friendliest staff ever. Very good selection of items.

Need more swagger sausages by the 30 pack.Also need turkey tails for your greens.
