It is the Shelton Nerd Haven!!! Not only can you buy games and dice and such (including video game time!), but they have games that you can come in and play! If you want to play D&D with your friends or want to find a party, this is the place to come! You can even call and reserve a table before your session for free!! And almost every day you can find people playing Magic the Gathering!
It is a very warm and welcoming place with a great community that I am so happy to be a part of!

I'm so impressed by the community that has been fostered here. This space is so welcoming and encouraging for people entering into whichever nerddom they have available. The kindness and willingness to help extends from people who frequent here, not just the staff. Jessica runs this great shop and has laid the foundation for the community.

I am not incredibly nerdy in this area, so much is unfamiliar. I recently started to get into Magic. Ben has a depth of knowledge that is incredible and has spent an unexpected amount of time using it to help me build my first Magic deck.

Felt really cozy and welcome, didn't feel remotely pressured to buy or play anything (though they made sure I felt free to join their Magic game,) and was able to just sit and draw and hang out in the good vibes. :)

Kids loves it. Great people working here, very accommodating.

We decided to host an informal birthday party here for my son and a couple friends and it was great. The woman working was exceptionally helpful and friendly. She indulged every request and answered every mundane question enthusiastically. She was a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable. I look forward to taking my kids there again.

The people here are awesome, especially Joy who works there, and Dante, who helps out my kids with game issues. My kids love going here, and it helps to be able to drop them off for a bit once in a while. Very highly recommend this place for any gamer. Also, they sell Magic cards and will trade certain cards for gaming time!!!

Great Place for kids B-Day Parties. There's 14 gaming stations and for 2-Hours you can't beat it. There's also tables for all the card games. Great Staff, they're considerate and they anticipate your needs and when you've got 14+ kids, cake, ice cream, candy and more, you best believe your gonna have a lot of needs. Thanks Kevin and company, we had a great B-Day party for my 11 year old grandson!

Just stopped in to get the Welcome to Magic the gathering cards, they were out but already have more ordered and the man behind the counter was very accommodating and informative, the shop has a nice selection of D &D items. Very nice environment, everyone was friendly. Will Definitely be back!!!!

I came in when my car had a flat tire and it was being repaired across the street at Les Schwab and the owner was incredibly nice and welcoming. He set me up with Fallout 4 and I was able to play games while my tire was being repaired! Playlive has excellent service and fair prices. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves to play video games and table top gaming including Magic the Gathering.

This is an awesome place to visit if you want to escape for a little while or bring the kids. Very reasonable pricing with packaged deals available as well. 14 gaming stations available in order to make sure everyone plays.

Great place for kid gamers and adults. Love that they offer snacks and birthday parties. Have had my sons birthday party there for 2 years now and he loved it!

Not sure how/why it had me down as a ONE (1) star review. I enjoyed my time here very much. Must have been an accident the last time I went to google it or directions... my sincerest apologies to the management, I have very fond memories of my last visit here.

Never a more magical kingdom has existed in the universe, it's as if Mace Windu formed an alliance with Aragorn and Geralt to form a trade partnership with Dumbledore, Picard, Drizzt, and Corvus Corax to initiate trade with the Primarchs, Elves, Arch Gryphon alliance, Nords, Bretons, Vulcans, Spathi, Mycon, Utraeans, and Olthoi. For the mutual benefit of all! I love this place.

Stopped in to get cards. Very welcoming atmosphere. Would've stayed if I had the chance. Great setup and management
