Market Basket

Stopped in while traveling from Maine to Vermont to pickup groceries for a week. Found a great selection of quick meals for a tight budget. The folks who work there were very helpful. Surprisingly so given how nasty some local shoppers were to them. Be nice and it will come back to you!

Market basket has always been my favorite place to shop when I moved out here I was very glad that there was one within reasonable distance. This location is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful... This will continue to be my regular grocery! Thank you!!

Shelves are always full and you can count on them carrying lots of specialized products. Lots of checkout lines are always available. Great parking lot friendly and competent staff.

Our go to store for the majority of our groceries. Nice selection and prices. Helpful and friendly staff.

It's a market basket, a New England staple. If you live near one you know why. Good prices and an atmosphere that is perfect. Lines can be a little long, but that's because everyone shops at market basket and not the other grocery store in town.

Glad they haven't tried replacing their staff with hard to use self checkouts.

I love this grocery store!...I love their store brand frozen vegetables...For example diced frozen onions are only $0.68 cents per bag!!!....these are great for tossing in to the pan when browning ground meat...There is always discounted fresh vegetables that I love to take home and process and can for later use...............

Market Basket is still my go-to-first for groceries, cat food, and whatever else I want. There are only friendly cashiers, no self-scanners. I make friends with the people in front and behind me in line, so there's a distinct social benefit too. Nice deli, meat, and seafood sections too. The bakery is also great. Lots of staff helpers, too.
Update: still a happy shopper at Market Basket.

MB is where to go for affordable groceries! Love it here. Staff are always pleasant, too.

I love all market baskets whether they are older or new. Their selection is the same and they have been my favorite since we moved to New Hampshire 21 years ago.

Great store! They have such a huge variety of options, more so than anybody else in town. And the prices are reasonable!

Very busy store. Expect long lines unless you only want a few items. Speed checkout if less than 12 items.

They stock shelves several times every day, their prices are competitive, the employees are kind and helpful, and if you can't find what you want, you can always find a suitable replacement. Great store, great prices! Update 8/27/22 nope, still a great place to shop and save money!

Love shopping there. Most always find great prices and availability. There meat selection is pretty good and not to bad price wise.

In a world where awesome customer service is very rare, Rob M. in the deli/seafood at Market Basket in Claremont, NH goes above and beyond for everyone. I waited in a line of 5 people deep and everyone was greeted with a huge smile and a "what can I get for you today" attitude. He was the only person running both the deli and seafood departments on a busy Saturday afternoon. Excellent customer service is hard to find in the grocery business these days and Rob M. has it.

Great shopping experience here tonight! Immediately greeted by Dylan who very kindly wiped the cart I brought in to sanitize it and pointed me in the direction I was looking for! Awesome, polite, and professional help while shopping by all of the associates during this trip! Check out was that great young man Dylan again and a very helpful amazing young lady named Tasha. They both were absolutely wonderful and so polite and professional while helping me with my tricky order and then Tasha had everything all bagged and organized neatly in a new clean cart when my order was done. Both Dylan and Tasha deserve some recognition for their outstanding customer service!!! Thank you for an actual pleasant shopping trip tonight!
