Dollar General

It's nicely organized compared to others I've been too locally. It's nice to have that option to run and grab a few things instead of going all the way to Walmart. It's easily in walking/biking distance for those of us who live in town.

The employee at the register is always happy and helpful. Today he went above and beyond to help a client I had there shopping. The cart she was pushing had a stiff wheel.( she is in her 90's) He got some wd40 and oiled the wheels so it rolled better.

So convenient....and great customer service. Everyone always has a smile on their face. Even the late night guy he's an awesome guy. Everything is always clean and organized. Keep up the good job guys. Thank you.

Overall good service! Staff were quick to give out masks to those who didn’t have them. Wide selection of food drinks and essentials. Nice little town store

The staff here are all very polite and neat/interesting characters. Store is kept clean and someone always greets you. Great local Dollar General by far.

Cleanest and biggest Dollar General in the surrounding areas. The isles are a bit narrower but they also carry more stuff. They have a pretty decent snack section and you can get wet'n'wild makeup there if your in a pinch and can't make it to Walmart.

DG is nice for us small towns but sometimes walmart is still cheaper which is bad it's a dollar store walmart should not be cheaper than dollar store

Love the Manager. Store is always clean and tidy. Employees are all very helpful

Everyone was friendly & helpful. I had no idea what merchandise would be there. I stopped just to look & found some bargains. I'll be back.

The store was one of the bigger ones i have been in. I love how much doller general has grown.

Never have a problem there...sometimes there's a line but just be patient and the staff knows what the store carries so if unsure just ask.

Anyone who said having a dollar general in Somonauk is a waste is an Idiot. Everyone goes there and loves it!
