Dollar General

I love this Dollar General!! It's one of my favs that I've been in. When it's a mess, it's due to lazy customers and or their kids. I love the staff, especially the (manager), I believe she's the manager. She's blonde, works days, sees me often. Always has what I need in stock, always greeted, and treated great. All the employees need a raise!

Just moved into a new apartment and needed a bunch of stuff the usual laundry basket garbage bucket etc etc there was no lines and was able to find everything I needed. Definitely a good store to go to and especially if you use the digital coupons you can save even more. There are some items that you need to be on the lookout for as they are a little pricier then saying Walmart or Meijer. I will definitely do more of my shopping there in the future as it is close and I can get everything in one stop instead of going to multiple places.

Great staple to the Marengo community. Open late (11pm I believe) and a decent grocery selection on top of what you usually expect in a Dollar Store. I come here routinely for milk and other odds and ends.

Very good, attentive employees. The line was growing with only 1 register open so another employee quickly opened 2nd register. Very friendly, helpful employees work there. They make a visit there very pleasant.

Although I've moved, I still travel to the last town I lived in to shop at the DG. In Marengo illinois. It is disappointing that none of the DG'S in my area have fresh produce and meat. Why is that? As my last review stated, I have major complaints about trying to pull up coupons with my app. I have walked out of stores because the app. has blocked me any. access. No associate has been able to sort it out. I'm sure how to resolve this. Regards, M. Hoffmeyer

Great place. Super easy in and out drop and hooks 30 minutes tops!

Super friendly staff...especially Jenelle....super helpful...noticed my hands were full and grabbed me a basket..and she helped find the coffee filters..5 stars employee!!

I needed to buy a shower curtain and was able to conveniently buy food to have for lunch at work so getting in and out quickly was very important.

I visit once sometimes twice a week staff kind and very helpful awesome values at low prices

Has almost all your needs it's much cheaper than going to the gas station great hours friendly staff

Dollar general just wouldn't be the same if it wasnt gloomy and poopy 5 stars for the classic dollar general atmosphere that gives off

Cheaper than our grocery store in Marengo on most things I try not to go to Sullivans

They carry my son's melatonin in the capsule form. The o my place I can get it in our area!!

Came in right before they closed and they were still cool to me
