"Balloons 🎈 before people!" the lone cashier thunderously roared.
As we meekly waited in the growing line. Hoping against hope that we might one day reach the check out register and pay for the spoils of capitalism nesting in our rickety carts.
"Hiss" went the balloon stand as another colorful latex orb swelled into existence.
We waited.
I overheard one disgruntled customer mutter "birthdays" derisively.
I looked down at my sole intended purchase. Today is my Birthday too but I dare not mention it amongst the restless crowd. People shifting and shuffling as they leaned into their carts, trying to get comfortable.
Frazzled and frizzled the cashier made her way to the register. To all of our relief the soothing beeps commenced and I soon found myself paying for my purchase and stepping out into the sweet light of day.
My eyes misted up with unshed tears as I kissed the warm pavement of freedom.
Never again shall I be held captive by the promise of cheap goods for only a dollar.

Always has some items that other dollar trees don't have. Love the speciality soda. Nice store and friendly staff.

Dollar Tree North Windham Maine is my favorite dollar store. Probably due to Covid-19, I wasn't able to find a few of my usual items, like spices, and I couldn't find a salt shaker or splatter screen . But I was impressed with some finds in the craft section. Service was friendly. The store was neat and clean. Just wish the wheelchair access was easier. There's a height difference between the ramp and sidewalk. Double doors to navigate takes at least two people since they have no automatic door openers.

Even though shopping at the Westbrook Dollar Tree is closer to my home Windham is always better stocked with things that I use in my daily life. So I dive those extra miles to Windham to shop. Thanks Windham.

Great value for the items. Just have to check quality of products and expiration dates on food because you do get what you pay for. Lots of parking. Helpful employees.

I love Dollar Tree But I wish my store would add more to there Craft Section

Went in on a whim, not expecting to find what i was looking for (a long reach assist grabber) and found exactly what i was looking for, the usual replacement for the one i had broken. SCORE!! Saw them on the internet for much more than i remembered spending on the original, picked up 2, and a couple other things for less than $6. DOUBLE SCORE!!

We were privileged to have Cooper as our waiter and he went above and beyond to make our experience excellent!!!!. We WILL be back!
