Skate shop has potential to be more. My review is that it was annoying asking skate questions and not getting helpful answers. I appreciate the story of surviving through hardship it is just that I prefer being helped before hearing a sad story. Because he was distracted I did not get any feedback on my current riser plates and had to gamble on a deck. Before I left, I tried rolling on it to test how level the board rode and he immediately said no skating in the shop then went right back into his life story. He honestly seemed sort of annoyed at my questions and just wanted to push product of any kind. Just be cautious when you go in and if they do not have what you are looking for backside 180 kickturn out
