Love this neighborhood hardware store! Unlike the big box home improvement centers, these folks actually know how to solve problems and want to help. Friendly, knowledgable, staff and a well-stocked store make this our go-to solution for the fixer-upper my son bought in Albuquerque.

Always willing to help. The majority of the time they have at least one brand of whatever you’re looking for. Much more convenient than other stores. Military discounts! This really is my go-to hardware store.

Management is awesome! We appreciate James (manager) and Daniel (assistant manager) for their responsiveness, honesty, and helpfulness always. James always takes special orders and communicates with us on order status regularly. He is honest about finding the best price on special orders. If they don't have something you are looking for in the store, James will find it for you. We can't tell you how pleased we are with the way the store is run. The kindness and respectfulness is second to none.

I have once again received outstanding customer service from store associate named Daniel. Daniel again spent a considerable amount of time helping me find an obscure bolt size in stainless steel. I'm continually impressed with Daniel's positive attitude and overall knowledge. Give this hardware store a try, if you haven't already. Edit on 6-13-23.
I prefer shopping here, when compared to the big box stores (Lowes, Home Depot etc.) It's much easier to find common hardware items and more importantly much easier to find an employee when needing guidance with a project or needing help locating an item. I experienced above and beyond assistance from an employee, named Daniel, a couple days ago. Daniel spent 15 minutes or longer helping me determine a unique bolt's diameter, thread pitch and appropriate tap and die (try that at Lowes or HD). Its surprising how many times I can find exactly what I'm searching for in this modestly small store, without walking all over God's creation or battling large crowds/checkout lines. This particular True Value has a bigger and better selection of nuts, bolts and fasteners, including stainless and specialty hardware, than anywhere else in the northeast heights. My only complaint; True Value's website Truely sucks.

I have shopped here several times and have always been satisfied, but today proved why the employees here are top notch.
I rented a UHaul trailer and this store is apparently a big exchange for that company, so I was confident this would be a good experience. An employee named John assisted me. He was thorough but fast and extremely helpful. While he hooked up the trailer another customer returned a pick-up and started, without promoting, talking condescendingly about how he was ready to be "harassed" by the return process. John was calm and friendly despite the customer's bad attitude. Once my business was finished I thanked him and wished him the best in dealing with the other guy. Even though I was joking about that guy's lousy attitude John never got upset or displayed any annoyance, he was extremely professional.

Fantastic store staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and polite. Sometimes they're a little higher than the big box stores but it's worth it for the service that you get.
And they also have fasteners and other hard to find items that you just can't find at The Big box store.. absolutely love this store I have 35 years in construction

Offers a wide variety if items and easier to get in and out versus big box home good stores. It is my go to when I need a small quantity, such as 1-4, nuts, bolts and screws. Their selection of Lodge products is nice and they have good selection of gardening supplies including vegetable plants. On a recent trip I appreciated their stock of sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer.

Word to the wise. Do not take an excuse of not having a product literally, from an employee - ask numerous employees
. I needed a battery and a charger for my weed whacker and was told they didn't have either. Being persistent of what I needed with the two cashier's - lol and behold they found what I needed. Now they exceeded my expectations. A big kudo to the two lady cashier's (one was Anna and the other unknown). They turned my having a bad day into one for me to jump with joy. This two ladies are employee keepers for knowing what the store has!

Excellent hardware store. They have everything and the staff is so great. I get tired of wandering a big box store looking for someone that knows something, but you'll never have that here. They're always around and can answer anything. I've bought a lot here and left feeling great every time. Their "20% off everything you can fit in a bag" sale is awesome.

Love this sweet little store! Every time I go there, I’m fortunate to find what I need! Pilar Garcia is a very helpful representative for your company. She knows that store like the back of her hand and she now knows my style too! She’s very good with her clients. I hear her talking with some of the senior shoppers and it’s very nice to hear how respectful and kind she is with them. If I had a business, I would want to steal Pilar Garcia from you!!!! We get so frustrated when we can’t get help at our nearby, corporate hardware store. Heights True Value has been the answer! Very friendly and many store associates to help! This store has everything you’re looking for!

Nice thing about Ace is each franchise can customize what they sell. Every one is different.
Back east there is a huge Ace Hardware Store in Chevy Chase. There if you want to buy a kite, or a balsa glider airplane, they have it.l
One I visited in Altlanta, GA. Had Oni Pizza ovens before they were a trend.

This local one had a slingshot rocket, oretty cool if you have children, or grandchildren

I will usually find what I need here, saving me from extra miles to a big box store where I often have to purchase connectors, etc in larger packaged quantities than I need.

I needed a replacement air filter for my furnace to help with allergies. It was almost $4.00 less than a big store, and took me half the time to purchase it and get back home.

Many times I can find items there that I can't find at the big box stores and if they don't have it in many cases they can order it for you.

On top of that you can find help a lot easier than the box stores. Check out is easy and if it gets busy the cashier will call someone to help out in a jiffy.

You'll find prices equal to the big guys most of the time. Even if you don't--the convince will more than make up for it.

They have a more varied selection of products, and some of their products are cheaper than Home Depot and Lowe's -- some are more expensive.

Every one is very nice and will help you if you have questions or need to find something.

They have great discounts and sales.

After being treated poorly and blown off at lowes in the paint dept. we decided to try Ace True Value on Eubank.Glad we did.The very helpful staff walked me through my questions without attitude, and gave me tips on my project. So much more helpful and sincere than the big stores.This place will be my first stop for home improvement from now on.

ACE hardware is a life saver for me. I do a lot of custom work on vehicles and commonly need hard-to-find fasteners and hardware. They have never let me down, and always make me wonder why I waste my time at Lowes or HD. The employees are always helpful and courteous, and most importantly, knowledgeable. They can quickly answer your questions and help you find what you need. I like that the store is small and easy to navigate, but still has everything the big box stores have, and more. If you need something specific or hard to find, try ACE first.

The employees are always very friendly and willing to help. There is a surprising amount of merchandise for being a smaller store. This place has been a go to for my bathroom remodel paint and supplies.
