Dave was a super star helping us locate a set of odd sized hinges after high winds slammed our business' main entry door breaking the existing hinges. Update May 2022: My previous comment was left from the many visits here while they were still called Smith Lumber. I have not been here since the change in ownership; I will leave an update when I do.

We have always had good experiences. We are medically exempt from wearing masks due to medical conditions and they were more than happy to work with us! Cheerful, knowledgeable, and top notch people!!!

I've been shopping at Smith Lumber & Hardware Center for forty years. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. If, as happens occasionally, they don't happen to have what I'm looking for, they direct me to a specialist who does. Chuck Smith and his staff are great people with whom to do business. I give them my highest recommendation.

The problems with the local big box stores are (1) they are sometimes physically TOO big (2) they lack true experienced sales people (3)they are too far away if you live locally. Not here! Smith Lumber is adequately sized with just the right selection of products you need. The sales people know what they are talking about and will provide unsolicited guidance, meaning they will provide decent recommendations you probably hadn’t considered. They have a nice location that is NOT 30 minutes away! Oh, and if they don’t have a product, it can be shipped to store or to your address from their website. Shop there long enough and they will begin to know you by name. Try getting that from most of the apathetic employees at HD or Lowes.

My favorite lumber yard. Super friendly and helpful staff (unlike some other local lumber yards but I won’t name names). These guys here are great and always go out of their way to give you a hand.

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. You may be able to find product cheaper at a big box store but you'll drive a distance for it. Save the time and check here first.

Nice, small town store. Salesman was very helpful. I bought a couple pieces of lumber and some odds and ends. I would definitely go back to this store.
